Hello. Nice review... do you know if the Ohlins previous model’s aftermarket suspension solutions (FKR 121 cartridge for the front and TTX AP-468 shock for the rear) work for the new 2021 model or not? Secondly, do the adjustable rearsets for the previous model match this new one or not?
That’s a very good question actually I don’t think it will fit at rear because the geometry in the rear is different for sure The front might still be ok . I’ll see if I can find more info for you

I am working on a hands on review on one bike directly through Aprilia U.K. but I honestly have no intentions to buy it because my Aprilia RSV4 RF 2015/16 is going pretty strong and gives me what I need, laptimes are also better than any year. Yes mate , the colours are very marmite , love or hate , they tried to colour them like their 250 cc 2 stroke bikes , to pay them a bit of a homage. I think the looks will grow on people slowly slowly

So not sure if you or anyone on the other side of the pond knows that Aprilia just launched Aprilia Trackdays here in the US to a select group of tracks and open to anyone to register. Me and a buddy of mine have already signed up. They're coming here in VA at the VIR circuit in May. It's my bday gift to myself lol. For $200 you get to ride any one of their models, of course (I chose the new RSV4 duh!) for a 20min session and while you wait you can ride your bike. I'm bringing a track only R6. I think it's a reasonable price for an all day trackday plus a chance to ride this beast. I'm hoping they'll let me take my gopro so I can post a video. Keep up the great vids mate, cheers!

That trackday you are talking about is a stunning value for money . We do organise the Aprilia days in UK but they are mainly from the Aprilia groups we/I manage, It's called the Aprilia Factory group. I have just launched two trackday films back to back and I am sure you will like them, they are mainly based on the Aprilia. Thanks for this video. I am a fan of Aprilia and this year I want to buy a new RSV4 Factory but from 2020 because the model from 2021 has lost its soul a bit in my opinion and of course it is much more expensive... The only thing that prompt me to the new rsv4 is that the new one has a slightly lower saddle and for me every cm closer to the ground is very precious because I'm short :D
Yes Dawid, it’s definitely a little lower which would help And yes it’s a drastic difference from previous years Aprilia But it will be a huge success I think because of the revolutionary swing arm and state of the art electronics and that amazing engine & chassis. I do think they should have made it different looking than the RS 660 It looks so similar But in flesh the new RSV4 factory looks amazing See it in real life , you might like it
Never ever going to be a fan of that stupid looking cockpit with an iPad, semi digital always ✊✊ at least give us an option to choose between the display

My main complaint on my 19' rsv4 1100factory is the cramped feeling when tucked, my knees touched my elbows. I am 6' so I wonder if it'll feel a little better. With 20 extra cc that probably helped the corner exit. But I have a tune on my bike so I never had an issue with power.
It would be a tiny bit better , my only concern with lower foot pegs is that as soon people put slicks on the ergonomics will change , so I think Rearsets will need upgrading as they are non adjustable and unfortunately then you are spot on because it will make the bike cramped again , in its present avatar with no after market Rearsets I think it would be better for taller people , but not after a full track treatment
great detailed review on what's new on this bike.now. on paper,i'd agree 100% on the obvious fact that the 2021 model retains the original DNA of the rsv4.the characteristics of this bike are intact ; what makes this bike so famous,its stability in corner entry as well as mid corner was,and is still confidence inspiring, which is all that matter when you want to go real fast. i can't thank aprilia enough for providing the magnetti marelli 6 axis ecu.no more of the obstructive bosh system; it was very,very good for its time,but it was due for an upgrade.job done. i find the new swingarm not as cool looking as the previous one,but hey,function over look any day of the week.it lower the center of gravity even more,great job aprilia.now...i'd like to see tougher valve retainers and guides ; it's well known, they're not the most solid parts of this engine ,so maybe aprilia will redesigns those parts one day,hopefully. well done man,would like to see you testing the 2021 live at the track this summer.

Absolutely, the extra 1100 cc has allowed them to put bigger pistons but lighter internals mean that the bike can still Rev more than its tuono brother lol .. thank you very much for watching and appreciating
