First aired in 2011, a short look at some of New Zealand motorsport's more famous Valiant Chargers, including cars driven by Jim Little and Leo Leonard.
Anyone know where to find the rest of this series? Episode 2 used to be on Vimeo but has been deleted - fortunately I saved a hard copy a few years ago but these are the only 2 episodes I've seen, and can find.
My family had a blue Pontiac Trans am from America and a Jet black valiant charger with the doors welded shut so you had to climb in throw the passenger window the charger and Trans am were my brother's welding the passenger door up the idea came from the Dukes of Hazzard t.v show ahhh the memories hey charger
Thanks for the memories......My father was an exec at Tonsley Park so we had new Chargers and Valiants every year as family cars...very lucky....
I had no idea these Chargers were so big in New Zealand. Very nice to see our brothers appreciate these Aussie icons...

Moffat fans need to see this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.
These chargers set and held records for ages.
I had a Leo Leonard Silver E38 big tank which he had race and sold it for $6500 in about 1986....silly me!
Amazing story, brilliant. He was dead right with the comment about motor racing is as expensive as you will let it be.

I can't understand why these cars were named Valiant when the company that produced them were called Chrysler.
