Hey Charger NZ
Whose watching 2024 Feeling very baby reindeer unwanted stalker rn but here we are Sent from my iPhoen
I was lucky enough to own a Charger as an 18 year old in Nelson back in the 80's . Only car I regret selling
Back in the mid 70s there was a very special silver charger on our driveway an E49 car #43 what made more special was it was a big tank fillers on both sides Owned but Jim Bramwell Jim and my father took it Levels with a tow bar with a bike trailer it used most of the fuel tank 36 gallons from Dunedin to Timaru So the story goes Jim was driving when a "wanker" in a Jaguar passed them Jimmy put the foot the floor and pasted the Jag with bike trailer with bikes doing in 130MPH mark Hope he sees this post and fills us in more I was 15 at the time
Fantastic work mate, so glad I found this. Thank you
RIP Stan Dorsey
Chargers are Australian. Could not understand a word of this. Subtitles please
I can't understand why these cars were named Valiant when the company that produced them were called Chrysler.
My family had a blue Pontiac Trans am from America and a Jet black valiant charger with the doors welded shut so you had to climb in throw the passenger window the charger and Trans am were my brother's welding the passenger door up the idea came from the Dukes of Hazzard t.v show ahhh the memories hey charger
the tabs? 👀
Thanks for the memories......My father was an exec at Tonsley Park so we had new Chargers and Valiants every year as family cars...very lucky....
Love that I live in a world where I can type "round and round bass" into Google and immediately get a sick little boss like this
As an Aussie , we used to Race like this too . Home Builders , with crazy notions on how to make a Heap of Shit go Fast . That OFTEN WORKED . Those Mighty DATSUNs . Great cars . Before Nissan happened at a Corporate level . Cheap and Cheerful Racing . Good times . Cheers Bru .
Hey Charger
Good to see Graeme giving it a go. People can laugh as they do...at least he's competing and doing what he enjoys.
These chargers set and held records for ages.
got to say New Zealand whats with the Ugly # Plates?
Fantastic.
Remember watching chargers dominating the benson and hedges 500 at pukekohe great cars good times
those Chargers were the 770, single card and 3 speed auto, standard production, NZ assembled cars.
Killer charge
Ah, trust our Kiwi brothers and sisters to appreciate the old Charger, as much as us Aussies. Go the old Hemi six.👍
Brilliant 👍
I had a Leo Leonard Silver E38 big tank which he had race and sold it for $6500 in about 1986....silly me!

Dude why are the tabs for this song unfindable, I’m trying to learn this on the bass and there’s no videos or tabs for this anywhere
You literally just commented on a video of someone playing this song on the bass..
Glad to see Reg Cook get a mention. I remember that Datsun Cherry.
Anyone know where to find the rest of this series? Episode 2 used to be on Vimeo but has been deleted - fortunately I saved a hard copy a few years ago but these are the only 2 episodes I've seen, and can find.
Episode 2 and 3 are both on here.
Amazing story, brilliant. He was dead right with the comment about motor racing is as expensive as you will let it be.
Shared to NZHRM forum.
I had no idea these Chargers were so big in New Zealand. Very nice to see our brothers appreciate these Aussie icons... Cheers bro
