@@LivrahYT Next time print a few radio headsets, they're cheap and can be made at an autolathe. You can totally yell quote on the radio to demoralize your enemies.
The basics are really easy to learn. Feed slime twice, wait for it to grow, feed it twice again. Wait for it to split, partition any slimes you want off into other cells and put the others in the freezer room so they die. Repeat, and follow the chart to know which slimes mutate into which type of slime. Always keep yellow slimes handy since they're simple to obtain and everyone wants one. Then when you get a hang of that and the mutation tree/effects, move onto analyzing slimes and picking the ones with the right stats for the job- ei. make sure to keep the slimes you want on low mutation chances, and use the ones with high mutation to climb the ladder towards what you want. Then start using chemicals to alter those chances. Then you start getting into optimization. You wrench the slime grinder so that it's right next to your chair, make a windowed hole in the station next to the grinder so slimes that die in there automatically get sucked in, start seeing how extracts work... Overall it's an incredibly chill job with a few responsibilities (seriously, make yellow slime cores and everyone will love you) that you can easily zone out and listen to a podcast to. And when the cultists go loud, unleash your horde of sapient, loyal chaos carp and xenomorphs on those who dare interrupt your work. Granted this is all based on my experience from about a year ago. Haven't played much tgcode so I couldn't tell how they work now.
Oh right, forgot to mention! Always keep grey slimes handy! I like to keep two pens with low mutation grays until I absolutely need the space, since gray extracts provide monke and you need monke to feed slimes.
@@leeverguy Or crossbreed greys into greys for en masse production whenever you want, the low cost of it ensuring you have it for the full round. Lot of powerful gubbins in there for xenobio use.

I remember a round a few months ago in /tg/ sybil, or was it bagil? anyway, i was the captain and there was one scientist that was a ling too, he starts going on a rampage, we manage to kill him and gib him, 2 minutes later hes back at it again, thats when i noticed he was a slimepeople, i gathered security and started raiding all of the deparments to find all of the bodies, during all that we killed him like 5 times and i ended up going to xenobio alone, managed to kill 3 bodies myself between melee and ranged combat , but by the end of it i was extremely injured, i was entering xenobio and he jumped me from a locker and killed me, he still had like 4 to 7 bodies left in maint

As well as see where those other bodies are in his "jump to body" menu. Then you can leave one naked body in isolation chamber and hunt down all the spares.
This is amazing. Out of curiosity, one of my traitorous dreams has been to use slimepeople copies to stand in the exits near the shuttle, and have them use the time freeze extract to block everyone except me from boarding the shuttle, leaving to a peaceful, easy hijack. (emag required)
You can also build nanites in your lair and use them to copy access to your other bodies. Sure emp screech wont work well with it but your bodies are expendable and dermal id + button cant corrupt into anything really bad. Ive been trying to do something like this but sybil cant last long enough for xenobio in its currently messed up state.
ambition traitors are the worst thing to exist really, you have to write a page length story of how you became a syndie traitor and then you need to write your own objectives, except not, cause the admins decide what objectives are good, and what are bad, so it'll be less action, and more talking. those retards from fluffy frontier have their writing skills shine only at erp sessions

pro tip for this strat you can use atmos holofan projectors to block off an area on the station, store one split body in there while you do stuff swaping back to it to split every now and then, leave all the other bodies in there and split them too so exponential replication.
i did something similar once, not as effective as this, but as ling i stored backup bodies in various places, however this was long ago, when slimes had to constantly eat or they will starve quite literally to death, its been changed at some point so slime people dont go below like 520 jelly from starvation so you cant die, but yeah, because of that back then, i couldnt just have a body making bodies, it had to constantly eat to keep growing

this is what changelings should actually be like by default, lore-wise, as all changelings come from what is basically a deadspace brethren moon on steroids and juice. technically, a true changeling experience would be basically playing with the admin spawner and the appearance and abilities of the 1984 thing
as a slimeman taking toxin dmg gives you more slime blood, you need 200% to split once. I like to have a small chem factory in sci set up that just makes 50 welding fuel/ fluoride pills constantly, then have my spare bodies digest them
you could revisit this as a traitor too, as a miner who has lucked out with dragons blood transformation. only after you get it should you attempt to slime change. but you can try to use pride in mining for it also. and with tc for a holo, you can get the ranged one for 2 benefits. it can trigger snare your hidden body to get a headsup if someone finds it. and its able to go past normal holo's tether limit. it can infact do z level travel to add to the chaos. just make sure you got a form of passive healing to let the spirit go ham. the staff of healing is very viable, yea it makes you a pacifist. but that doesn't affect the dragon form you can use. just dont transform into a dragon with your main body if it has the staff active, it will dust you if you try.
Shame that one day you wont be able to do this anymore on tg, I recommend beestation, their codebase is better than tg's , mostly because they improve things instead of removing and nerfing everything into the shadow realm, and the mechanics are pretty much identical to TG's before they started ruining things, although some thigns might be different, i havent played in a while, the last major change i think was all the tools and parts (manipulators, cells, etc) got new textures
Immovable rods are a menace because the station z level wraps on beestation. One time I survived a lot of shit, got to medbay, grav was gone... they patched me up and i walked out of medbay, only to get immediately penetrated by the *rod* and Insta critted
But beestation ban people for rampaging like this, as ling you only kill what objective told you to... and people who threat your life/objective Unless its cultist/Revs , too much killing for admin to care
I just realized you could have made this even worse for the station by using the slimes you collected via things like emp slimes, plasma slimes, gold slimes, and especially rainbow slimes.
I’d love to see the crew’s chat reactions to the ling continuing to appear everytime they think they’ve killed it.

There is a relatively easy way to counter this. Disable all teleport beacons. But that would require some level of intelligence and coordination.
Botanist got hand tele and did this. /tg/ maps have 2 undestructable beacon - teleport room and aux base.
