Oh my God I remember this shift. (For instance, there I am getting killed at 7:04) Your ling disguise totally worked. Like, almost comically well. The borgs were dead set on killing the real Genevieve due to mountains of evidence pinning her as the ling on top of nobody seeing you as her. Hell, we were going off on the captain too since he was desperately trying to protect her and prove her innocence, which we saw as him putting the crew in danger since we had no reason to think she wasn't a ling. The reason why I say it was comically effective can be seen at 11:51. In the captains office you can see her and the captain killing us borgs in an attempt to protect her from us (he was hiding her till then). When you set off that EMP nade, you essentially sealed her fate. I got out before he could finish me off but was still affected by the nade, and it all lined up as her causing the EMP. There was even a brief period of time where we lost her, so we also thought she had taken the AI while the doors were EMP'd and hid them real quick. We searched all over for that AI and just couldn't find it! After that, the captain was practically backed into a corner trying to defend her, so he eased up enough for us to yoink her. We decided to give her to the robo for MMI purposes after we killed her, and lemmie tell ya she was PISSED over the comms for the last few minutes of the shift. Yes, we all felt like dunces when the round ended and she wasn't a ling. Yes, I said sorry for getting her lynched. BUT THE SERIES OF EVENTS WAS SO PERFECT!
Lings are essentially the only antags which can't be easily identified or pinned. You can only catch it in the act since any evidence on a person and they can just change disguises.
lmfaooo, i was the other ling at the end, i had to go afk and like 20 ish minutes before the round ended i got back and i broke the apc of my library and literally started laying spider eggs and if anyone wandered in my lair i would kill them and eat them for the spiders to lay more and no one did anything about it, and one of my victims escaped from my lair (acco), so i chased him around with a sword for 10 mintuse straight yelling he was ling and at the very end sec grabbed him adn chopped his head off, like no questions asked.
Ahh, the one thing I don’t like about ethereal lings; you don’t become the right colour! Anyway, smooth execution and love the DRG music, gives me chills every time.
If you have chemicals to spare, picking your ethereal from the disguise menu a second time should fix the color back to normal. The reason it changes colors is because it tries to pull the ethereal color from your previous disguise.
@@tempinformal In that specific case, you use the determiner (alguém deixou cá o *seu* saco), the gender of which has to match that of "bag" and not that of "someone".

I`m still amazed how well this runs on your computer. You built a grenade in about 5 seconds with absolutely no lost clicks, no delays, nothing.
I bought an RTX series card just to play SS13, it's the sigma grindset.

Few people know it, but the default range for ling stings is 2 tiles, and it can do stuff like go through airlocks sometimes.
