Then you left the mech in a hallway, and when you saw him come around you went in behind him and trapped him there with the empty mech acting as a roadblock, fucking bamboozled.

i thought mechs were shit for combat for how painfully clunky they are, but yet this man managed to be robust with mech, you have inspired me to make shitty mechs and get like 2 people killed before a guy beats my mech to death with a toolbox
The real trick with basic mechs and other similar things is to use your surroundings to your advantage. Try and get the crew to have to go through a bottleneck before they can get to you, never willingly fight in large, open areas where they can surround you.

Oh there i am, Pulls the Trigger. I think i actually survived that round by escaping to mining. I got to get back into the game. Great fun, the soundtrack just shows the true epicness of how you feel this gameplay really feels when you are in the heat of the moment.
I wonder if we played at the same time.. I had a game fairly recently where the "war" was declared.. And one had a mech.. If so.. The gravity being taken down was my doing, same with making the SM blow up. ( Blowing the SM up was my way of dying in a glorious way XD ) That is.. Assuming this was the same round and same server.

How do you stop something like this? Dude is a god. Also, learning this game is a nightmare. For every minor action you want to perform - gotta upon wiki and read 10 pages long guide. And then fail it in the game multiple times until undestood.

Stunning/disarming your opponent is far more important than just trying to win through raw damage output. Removing your enemy's ability to hurt you is generally smarter than just trying to hurt them faster than they hurt you. Try using Disarm Intent, anything that makes them slip like soap or wet floors, use some cable coil to make zip ties and cuff them while they are stunned and on the ground. Once someone is handcuffed, you can freely drag them and they cant run. They also cant defend themselves. Make it a habit to carry drugs and stimulants that give you stun resistance or a speed boost to use in combat. The faster your player moves, the harder it is for the enemy to click on you. Works well with melee but dodging ranged attacks is a bit harder

Its been a long time since I played TG, due to all the changes and nerfs, and select other reasons. Probably over a year now, at least. I gotta ask Livrah, or anyone else who still plays TG, is it worth trying again? I moved to VG instead, but there are a couple things TG still has (I hope) that VG doesn't, and I've since fallen out of the loop with anything TG. I guess three of my bigger questions are, if yes I should give it another go, is mining (more) nerfed to shit, and/or gotten anything new, or at least still fun, is the player base still alive and going well and not a bunch of shitheads, and if exploring space is still also super nerfed to shit (Still always going to be pissed about the removal of the syndie hardsuit from the satellite safe, ESPECIALLY since they swapped it for a STANDARD FUCKING SOFT SUIT. Coulda been a suspicious suit to make it a fairer nerf, but nah.) Oh, and whether any more away missions have been added. Kinda leery of sinking more hours into TG just to start enjoying something again and seeing it disappear for 'balance' or other 'reasons'. (read: Coders crying cause 'I ded', or worse, people having fun.)
With these questions, definitely not. Well, even hardsuit was replaced with "MODsuits" and nukies don't have armor in EVA mode. Traitors now have a timegates on uplink items and stupid objectives like fetch quest or kill the pet. And last movement change (when you run tiles diagonaly you get x1.5 speed for some reason) repels me the most. If you found another server, good for you. I am very limited with the choice of servers because of the ping.
