It was great getting to see you rebuild your board in this video. You learn a lot about a deck when you get to see how it plays when it’s on the back foot.
Small tip for the "free to play" players: you can replace "Codebreaker Virus Swords" by "LANphorhynchus" and "Linkuriboh" by "Link Spider". They serve the exact purpose than in this video (clearing space, putting Deep Sea in the graveyard, and meeting the requirements of some link monsters who can't use the token as a material), and they are given for free by the game!
This deck is amazing and your explanations are so nice and detailed. Had a question, so you think there’s a way to incorporate the new cards like barron de fleur in to the combos?
Yes, the easiest way is to replace fishborg with Gluttonous. But, if you still want to keep Risen Dragite, then you will need Halqibrax, T.G. Magician, and Scythe. In another video, I will show you how. You will end with Baronne, Dragite, Toad, Savage, Borrelsword/Apollousa. Hehe.
Hey Darew, thanks again for the explanation and can’t wait to see your next video. Had a question, I’ve been having some issues summoning linkuriboh during combo number 1. For some reason, I can’t summon linkuriboh from the token. Any ideas or help would be appreciated!
@@kurtsonklaber8645 I have the same issue, ive noticed it happens less often if the token is in the far left hand monster slots, as the game seems to prioritize everything from left to right
@@jesserebelo3583 i think i solved it yesterday. You need to use a link 2 monster that has arrows pointing downwards. And keep one of those monster zones pointing to the arrow open to summon the token of oyster meister. From there you should be able to summon linkuriboh, since it can only be summoned to a monster zone corresponding to the arrow of above link monster
Thank you! I want to do more Water decks, but it's a tough grind to collect them all! XD Fortunately, I have a lot of different ways to abuse Big Fish, hehe
I noticed you submitted a deck to masterduelmeta but it was wrongly placed in the Kragen section. I submitted one myself and they made a separate "Fish" category for it.
nice vid and a great build, have you tried gluttonous reptolphin grethys (level 3 fish tuner) it gives your synchro 200 atk per handcard your opponent has, that way you can use coela with it to get baron de fleur
I have been saving some gems to build a new deck and I guess I will build this one. Seems strong and funny to play. And I already have some of the high rarity card, so why not? Thanks for the video man
really loves this deck, hope you’ll update it with new boss monster update tomorrow (more competitive decks too for tournaments, how to handle if u go 2nd too)
@@saladbetch8235 i took this deck to plat 1 and the play going 2nd would be either bagooska or even better, Crooked Crook (if you can summon Right Hand Shark.)
Great work, and tips. You really explain so good the heart of the decks. I wish you can do a Dragonmaid or Dragonmaid Pendulum. I think you can do it very consistent. Keep the good work and videos.
Hey, I have a question. Can you replace silent angler? Because if u special summon it from your hand u can’t use saryujas effect to special summon superancient.
Hello =] Have you tried using the combo at 14:50 that doesn't use Saryuja? There is a situation in which you have Angler, Leafish, and RoyalSwamp or Oyster in your hand so you can't do either combo, but the probability of this happening is only 3/100 games. Though, if you're having still problems, you could try squeezing in ZS-Armed Sage and ZS-Ascended Sage, and Zexal Construction.
Only 1 out of 4 replays shows you going first, during which your opponent didn't set up a solid board. Is this deck mainly a going-first type or it can easily go 2nd too?
Mainly going first. We can't play through more than 1 or 2 interruptions so easy. We also can't get away with having too many hand traps or we loose consistency. But, if I could go back and change something in the deck, I'd add up to 3 going-second cards, that would also have the benefit of making Crossout Designator even more useful. +1 Niburu +1 Droplet +1 And maybe Lightning Storm or Imperm If you want to maintain a deck size of 40, the easiest replacements are probably Buzzsaw and White Mirror.
Duuuude!! Very Nice Deck Profile , Big Fish, Big Boss 💪🏼 😎 , try Union Carrier with Dragon Buster Destruction Sword lock for your savage dragon , your opponent will cry 4 sure 🤪
Intentional, I wanted to maintain a high consistency for combo probability. If I could go back and change something, I'd add up to 3 more going-second cards to make Crossout Designator even more useful. +1 Niburu +1 Droplet +1 And maybe Lightning Storm or Imperm
It's more of a personal preference. Borreload increases the power ceiling by being able to attack twice. Apollousa looses atk making it hard to OTK next turn if you don't have enough damage, but it's negates come in handy. Your choice =] Lately, I've been thinking replacing Borrelsword with Avramax+Masquerena, because it becomes indestructible. =]
@@deepseadarew6012 one more thing, are you planning on making more water based decks? I'm impressed with how you explain what each card is suppose to do. Subbed and can't wait for more entertaining and informative vids
It's not searchable as far as I know, though if you happen to have it in your starting hand you could special summon it with Saryuja. There are other ways to lock your opponent from special summoning. Like Gozen Match + Kragen.
@@deepseadarew6012 theres a fish combo that uses Bahamut -> Acid golem and you swap it to your opponent with geonator. I've seen two variants of it, one uses Silent Wobby and another uses Black garden. So enemy will have a no material acid golem (it cant attack and they cant special sum) .

If it happens too often, then you may need to update your deck to add more Piri Reis Map or more Level 4 Extenders. White Stingray is a great extender because it can discard Coelecanth from your hand if you happen to have it.
Normally you'd replace Borrelsword if you want Avramax. Linkuriboh+Monoceros+Codebreaker. Though, it would be better to replace Linkuriboh with I.P.Masquerena to make an indestructible Avramax. I.P.M tributes the oyster token and Monoceros, then Avramax tributes I.P.M and Codebreaker.

Adding Nib and Imperm is a good idea. Also Droplet. As for having fewer spells leading to less consistency, I assumed so too. But (after using a hypergeometric calculator) I found that at 3 Monks and 11 Spells, adding 1 more spell only provides a 1% increase of doing a combo with Monk + Spell, because you only have 3 Monks in the deck anyway. 11 Spells was quite consistent on my way to Plat 1. But, if you'd like to be even more consistent, you could replace 1 ZS - Armed Sage with Zexal Construction, since Zexal can be treated as both a spell and a monster.
