super ancient deep sea king has been my favorite card for awhile, the turbo summoning combos set up an unbeatable stun deck or a full 6 monster otk board. A lot of people sleeping on the fish.
It's basically a water version of Admancipator XD Though, it lacks the consistency to be Top Tier, like Admancipator. It's been said that Coelecanth is just 1 card away from being Top Tier. =]
Hmm, without Link Monsters to get rid of Dugares, the deck can be a bit clunky. I've been preparing a Shark deck, but I'll consider testing a Fish deck too.
Wow that's amazing, coelacanth feels like balanced version of block dragon. And the drytron player didn't get interrupted and somehow forget they doesn't have ritual spell when there's like 3 chances they could get it.
It may be more balanced than Block Dragon, but this deck as a whole might be less consistent than the Adamancipators deck, since that deck is like Tier 2. Big Fish can't play through interruptions the way Block Dragon can.
I was surprised and this is a very strong turn 1 board, and it’s not a bad deck if you are going turn 1. The only problem I see is that other decks can do what this deck does but better as in more consistent or they have just stronger turn 1 boards. Overall a very nice deck though if you aren’t blocked from combo turn 1 or opponent doesn’t have to strong of removal when they go turn 2
I really wonder why I don't see decks like these anywhere. almost every deck that goes 1st in the master duel format can put up 4+ negates but can't play through 1 well timed negate (most, not all and it's dependant on the hand yes).
You can only Link summon monsters in a zone your other Link Monster points to. So in my video, Codebreak points to the 2nd Zone, so I can only summon Linkuriboh in that zone. So, that's also where I have to put my token.
Ive been using this deck a ton since ive seen your deck profile, and the board I can end up on now is insane. There's 3 types of text that determine how often you can use an effect. Coelacanth is a Soft Once Per Turn. 1) A Hard Once Per Turn, is only 1 per turn. It will tell you the name of the monster. "Dark Magician can only use this effect once per turn". 2) A Soft Once Per Turn, can be used once for every instance of that card. So if you summon a 2nd card or the card leaves the field and comes back, then you can use it again. The card will say "You can only use this effect once per turn," but it will not mention the name of the monster. 3) Unlimited. The card will have an effect that triggers when an event occurs or can be activated under certain conditions, but it does not mention once per turn.

your combo is good but you missing 1 thing to protect your end board, you need barrier statue of the torrent to protect your monster from kaiju and lava golem, I really appreciate that if you can summon it
My Part 2 video has Maxx C and Ash. You could squeeze in 1 Niburu in there too because of Crossout Designator. =] th-cam.com/video/xQAj4up66m8/w-d-xo.html
You can! I personally prefer Avramax, Borreload, or Underworld Goddess instead of Code Talker, because this is a going 1st deck, and these cards offer protection during your opponent's turn, while Code Talker is only useful on your own turn. There are variants that use Halqifibrax, I don't have the URs to make that deck, but when I do, I'll be sure to make one with Halqifibrax!
You got through 5minutes of solitaire, and that didn't bore you? Lol. Well, the core of this deck isn't the negates, it's the Big Fish loop that lets you summon ANY generic Extradeck monster. Psy-Frame Omega, Avramax, Five-Headed Dragon, Borreloads etc.. Negate monsters are optional. I could have made that explicit in the video, oh well. =]
The updated version has 3 Crossouts and 1 Maxx C, 1 Ash, check out my most recent video. I'm about to release an even newer version that fits in Niburu.
Summoner Monk is necessary for consistency, since it's the only 1 card combo in the deck. Also note, that the video you're responding to is 10 months outdated. In Water locked variants of Coelacanth, Summoner Monk can be replaced with Abyss Shark and Sea Nettle, but in non-water locked, Summoner Monk is a necessary 1 card combo.
1 sub from me because of the content. Keep making more vids about interesting decks bro. Love your vid but the combo is a bit complicated so it takes time to learn lol
The deck seems bad but I at least can appreciate the effort and narration put into the video. Why it's bad? Heavily relies on lack of interaction from the opponent even when going first...and then even more difficult on your second turn. at least in platinum, I don't see this deck being good. Seems like you end on a board very similar to Dinos except without being able to have handtraps and protection. I can imagine the win streak was done probably in gold or below. Btw decks that run 15 cards in the extra deck are immediately prone to the very popular Banquet banish deck. If possible always run 13 cards.
All 17 wins were at Platinum 1 in Season 2. Like you said, this deck is susceptible to interruptions, though you can play around them by baiting the opponents with Fury, Foolish, and other cards. The deck is not "bad", but it's certainly not top tier, it's mostly a deck for people who love Water decks and aren't interested in playing "meta" decks. Check out my newest video for an updated version, where I reach Platinum 1 in Season 3 by adding Crossout Designator and Ash+Maxx C, you could also add Nibiru. The Banquet Banish deck are all bots. Konami will probably ban D.D. Dynamite or something in the deck to stop it from running amok.

Yes, in my newest video I added Right-hand. In a future video I may add Left-Hand. It's a great replacement for Oyster Meister in some combos =]
I'd personally drop Codebreaker for the Water Charmer Link or Mistake Boy for more utility. Other than that, solid list
Yes, those are good Link 2s if you have the SRs for it =]
Great video mate, make a codarus deck next! D:
what happens if u get nibiru
You loose. Lmao. If you add 3 Crossout Designator and 1 Niburu, that will help against Nib.
your combo is good but you missing 1 thing to protect your end board, you need barrier statue of the torrent to protect your monster from kaiju and lava golem, I really appreciate that if you can summon it
no maxx c or ash?
My Part 2 video has Maxx C and Ash. You could squeeze in 1 Niburu in there too because of Crossout Designator. =]

Can I put access code talker and crystal halqifibrax
@@deepseadarew6012 ok thanks
Avarice is said “Av-a-riss.” Not Avaritsay.
Fish deck 😻😻😻
maybe you could do heros someday?
keep it up

This deck sounds scary and delicious at the same time 😂
great vids wish you do other deck
22:43 this is the reason lm just to scared to cut on the game....
Deepsea Darew: see-lo-canth
Me: Oh cool, he knows how to say this word
Deepsea Darew: a-va-rit-say
Me: ...what
Lmao, I was learning Czech at the time and so my brain crossfired. That is how you would pronounce Avarice if it was a Czech word. XD
The way the dryton player kept drawing cards was so funny to me
It's called Maxx "c" challenge.
I do that too when I'm very confident with my hand and the game situtation.
@@DisIngRaM ye but he just didnt get anything that helps
You could use necroface and definitely better traps
How would use necroface?
My updated version uses 3Crossout Designators, with Ash, Maxx C, and Niburu. =]
@@deepseadarew6012 necroface returns banished monsters to your deck so you can get them back!
Thanks vert vert good
Welcome :)
i love it
"It has a total of 8 negates 🤓" like holy shit the deck looked fun at the beginning but then i saw the negate snorefest
@@deepseadarew6012 The loop was kinda interesting but i just hate to play against 8 negates with 5 cards in my hand
CRAZY
Crossout designator would make this deck insane but it’s kinda hard to fit it. The deck is insane though
The updated version has 3 Crossouts and 1 Maxx C, 1 Ash, check out my most recent video. I'm about to release an even newer version that fits in Niburu.
Awesome video, did you managed to get to plat 1 with this deck?
I did, but I had to add a few Ash Blossom counters to make it happen. I can release a new deck list =]
@@deepseadarew6012 That'll be awesome Jaja, btw i love the edits in your video
water adamantia 0w0
Yugioh + fish = I subscribe
I think Tin Goldfish might be a better choice then Summoner Monk.
This and try to make more vids explaining other decks the same way you did here pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
Is there a deck you're interest in? I'm thinking of doing Kragen next.
