I bought an old TV on a rolling stand. Didn't know what to do with it when I got married and the project wouldn't be wife approved. Not that I couldn't do it but that it would cause a problem. On the scale I wanted, yes. Now I can make clay model and do the same idea just scaled wayyyyy down. It involves the TV so it's a fitting canvas. Thanks for the inspiration.

Yo Drip you know what eles you can used hot glue for to make blood effect when hot glue dries up paint over it with red blood paint and put it on the action figure.

Omfg this movie gave me nightmares, so did Leprechaun, and many laughs were had at my expense. The Grudge was the same way. My mom or sister would hide in a dark room and imitate the clicking/croaking to scare me. I'm so excited to watch this tho!

Damn that came out great!! Both the dio and the figure! Your right with custom figures, painting is the same steps, prime/base/layer. Genius idea with the hot glue for hair. Theres 2 part puttys that can cure flexible but they can be expensive and difficult to work with. ProCreate is the go to putty if you wanted to have a play. Mix it a certain ratio for flexible curing.

You can definitely use green stuff to do the hair it’s flexible pliable and you’re able to put it exactly where you want it. Over on my channel you’ll see a lot of my fingers i use green stuff . It will make your life a lot easier

I am actually getting ready to build an AVP sewer/apocalyptic city scene for my son. I was wondering if you had any tips and techniques i could use to help bring my creation to life.

Awesome! I actually have the figuarts Ring set, which is pretty cool. But your diorama is a stroke of genius. And yeah, why the lack of official Ring inspired figures?
Could you add black and white strobes leds that is programmed to come on like a normal b&w tv but slowly starts to flicker then strobe
Yea it has that mode but it’s more of a fade or on and off … wish they had a glitch effect

As a crt collector, I really hope it didn't work before you gutted it those things are getting rare and are starting to take a lot of maintenance. I mean I get it for the ring but I hope you didn't wreck a perfectly good tv for this
Well it didn’t work at all … so I used it in a way that does provide my art value and a successful end goal with my art :) …. I’m sure your into maybe restoring a tv like this … but not everyone has that knowledge to learn it
