I once read that Gilmour said that his solo on "Dogs" was the most difficult one he ever had to play.

Gilmour’s guitar on this song is a master class . He is my all time favorite… he grabs your soul . He is a treasure ..
First heard this on radio Luxembourg when i was a teenager, many many years ago, with my little radio stuffed under my pillow one night. Thought there was a dog in the garden. Truly amazing - loved it ever since.

What I love is that this song is so heavily requested. When I first listened to it, the beginning is unassuming, sounds like another classic rock song I didn’t see anything special. And then boom! Gilmour 4:15, 6:06, 14:42. Goosebumps and shivers all over...and I was 28 when I first heard this I’m 40 now. Haven’t stopped since.

I watch him a lot and I honestly dont know how he sits still through a lot of songs. He is very analytical though
he is a fan of Music he doesn't just listen he analyzes in his head what is going on which is what makes his reactions and reviews really really cool to watch.. he's clearly someone who appreciates the art of the song. compared to somebody singing along with a click track or to a beat.. What actually went through way back in the day prior to the computer magic when he not only played the instruments but you mix two songs together you had different tracks that made up the whole thing and you look at an epic piece of music like this nowadays some 42 years later and you're just amazed.. songs hold up so well to this day.

When I was in the Navy, I would listen to this cd (Animals) in my rack in the middle of the ocean. The movement of the ship with the waves and Pink Floyd. I chilled and slept like a baby. Love the Floyd.

You don’t listen to Pink Floyd you EXPERIENCE it and Animals is a saga, you can’t really get it as individual tracks pigs, dogs, sheep, it is rather amazing.
I used to trip and listen to pink floyd back in the 70s. Now that was an experience!

Here's a thought , listen to the whole album / CD of The Who Quadrophenia , that's a classic rock Opera or in the same category as Pink Floyd Animals & Dark Side of the Moon. I've seen both these bands live back in the 1970's.
It should be mandatory to wear proper HEAD phones like the three at the the top, not EAR phones.
