Notes:
I am well aware of the d that slipped into baggage.
I know the French flag is backward, this is the flag of the kingdom of the French which was in charge during the opening stages.
This series will mostly focus on the war aspects, so expect less content and focus on the political systems. Check out Historically adequate or the Revolution Frances series on TH-cam for a deeper dive.
Yes I know it looks like epic history. They make good content.
Yes, it was intentional to release this on the anniversary of Valmy.
Sorry if the borders are not 100% accurate, especially the Polish ones as there was a large redraw by hand.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment them or send it to my gmail. I will have a final, 30-60 minute cut of the series which will be edited to adjust for any mistakes.
If you are wondering why the prussians refused to move and died from disease, it was because reinforcements were expected from the netherlands, though they were not received.
If you are wondering why the french kinda just let the prussians go, that was because Dumouriez made a backdoor deal just to get the Prussians out of France.
And y'all who are asking about the next part, I haven't even started on the script. It will probably be out around January, but that's just going off of my own 3-4 month timeframe from prior videos.

A chaotic time, as civil war breaks out across the country, while they fight for France itself against Europe. I’m happy to see this era before Napoleon get some needed recognition.
I have been hoping for Epic History style videos on the French Revolutionary Wars for SO LONG, this is a great surprise
Finally someone covers the French Wars before Napoleon!
Finally someone is covering these campaigns
i love how epic history TV inspired video's likes this
Amazing video! I'm so glad there's finally some Epic History TV style content on the French Revolutionary wars. Subscribed and looking forward to more!
Exactly, such underrated battles and political developments before and parallel to Napoleon... Can i suggest, whenever possible, placing the names of the division generals in the flags?
Can you do the vendèe war it a great catholic revolt against the french revolution
I cant describe the level of happiness when I understood that finally there will be a channel eager to cover the French Revolutionary Wars. I really thank you. Keep it up!
Good to see some major battles of the French Revolutionary Wars before Napoleon
"All great things have small beginnings." - Peter Senge
Heavily underrated TH-cam channel
Your style looks alike to Epic History. Keep it up, man!
Great work on the video. Would be great to see more about the first coalion wars.
He's back! The Middle Guard is back!
This is fantastical.
Don't you ever stop!
More of this pls, Just discovered your channel, awesome indeed
The production of this video is extremely top quality! What video/editing software do you use?
I used Adobe After Effects for animation, and Prem pro for cobbling the sound and footage together.
"Ah The French...champagne.has always been celebrated for it's excellence. There is a California champagne by Paul Mason.....inspired...by that same French excellence. It's fermented in the bottle and like the best French spirits it's vintage dated"
I have a feeling this'll be good!!
PMF productions found in the wild
Thanks for making this, this battle is referenced heavily but it’s great to see how it actually went down
Amazing work ! Can't wait for Fleurus, Sprimont, Jemappes or the Helder Capture
Thanks, great vid. How many parts will this series be?

Wow, very nice! This your first video I have watched, dont know about others (will check them out) But, with more detailed battle anumations, you know, tacktics, movment of troops, longer videos, between 15-20 mins minimum and so on, this channel have a potensial!

Love your videos 😍
This channel is underrated
Bro your channel deserves 1 million subscribers ❤
Loved this! The visuals were amazing. Great work!
The channel looks heavily influenced by legendary Epic History TV. The quality is at par with that channel.
Subscribed and good luck.
A suggestion: You should cover Frederick The great campaigns. No one on TH-cam did it with this quality except House of History guy whose accent is atrocious.
Oh baby!!!
All that’s missing is an 1800s sounding British narrator!
Unfortunately my British accent faded long ago.
Awesome
VTH should react to this.
Awesome work thank you
All good Now be sa kind and let Epic History take over that lovely content 😊
It’s a market of supply and demand; EpicHistory doesn’t want to show it, so I have no issue with others entering the market to do so. If you have a problem, then wait for EpicHistory to release it instead of putting down creators works
How do you make these maps (the European and the battle map) ?
Pain, suffering, and photoshop templates I made.
Poggers
Poggers indeed
What’s the music at 12:14
Spartan I think
@@christopherf8912 who made it?
@@mechaboy0226 not too sure, but I know it’s on Filmstro. You can probably find it by typing in spartan filmstro soundtrack. It usually has the name in it there.
Middle Guard, if you don't mind me asking:
For future videos, please consider placing and keeping the date of the relevant on-screen event in one of the upper corners of the screen.
Some viewers may find it difficult to tell when an event is taking place, such as when this video covers the first French campaign into the Austrian Netherlands, then moves to the Duke of Brunwick's campaign into eastern France.
Best best best

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

Its very well detailed, congrats its a great work
You are a rising star! Hope to see more videos soon! Absolutely love it!!
The Revolutionary Wars are utterly fascinating yet always neglected despite the recent upswing in videos on Napoleon etc. Here's a subscribe just for doing this
Can you create more videos like these battles that Epic history doesn't create it, it will give us more knowledge about the battles during the revolution
In my opinion, the Battle of Valmy deserves to be acknowledged as a significant event, not just in the context of the Revolutionary Wars but also in European history.
Its outcome led to the National Convention declaring the end of the Bourbon monarchy of France, and the birth of the French First Republic.
great to see the inspiration from epic history tv good luck
Lets share this, because this quality of narrating the french revolutionary wars has never been seen! Its so good, it needs more views

You can smell the Epic history inspiration
Hell yeah
Thank you man. Please continue this series!
Big W for this video
Could the Prussians have won if they charged after the ammunition explosion?
The Prussians had a good chance of winning should they have committed entirely at any point, but that would have been costly, and far too uncertain of a risk with such an expensive force like the Prussian army.
Nice
Louis Philippe saving the revolution(and France) from germans..usually don't hear that part
Could the Prussians have won if they charged after the ammunition explosion?
for a channel of this size to produce a epic history tv style video of this quality, is something to behold! keep up the good work
Are you an editor at Epic History?
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbee...
@@middleguard1836 That explains a lot... Like, I can understand you just saying that you were inspired, but this edition is much more than inspiration, it's from someone who's been doing this for a while... Ok then, thanks for answering. 👍😆
Great!!

@@middleguard1836 well I appreciate the effort you give regardless, I’m subbed now
Great videa, very good inpiration of epic history but very good, you have done it perfect, will you do a tutorial of how you do it?

How did it save France when the allies eventually occupied Paris (twice! 1814 1nd 1815) and installed back monarchy and France still exists?
Revolutionary France won its wars against coalitions of European powers, with a civil war in France against the royalists.
Epic man Epic
7:28 "After the disastrous invasion of Belgium"
Please, Belgium didn't exist prior to 1830. The territory you are referring to is called Flanders.
@@FrederikVanlokeren I did mention that earlier in the video, and with no visual reference to back up the scene, I presumed people would have an easier time if I referred to it as Belgium rather than Flanders.
