  • Today Scott and Seth will be making brats and breakfast links on a budget! In our area turkeys are going for around $0.98lb after the holidays and we thought it'd be a great way to make some delicious sausage on the cheap. Using our own blends of seasonings, casings, and other additions like dried fruits, and pork fat you can make these products yourself with our DIY kits available on our website!

@TheBeardedButchers I took your advice and found a couple left over Thanksgiving turkeys for 50 cents a pound. Could you please do the debone and grind video? My wife likes ground turkey, and she was nice enough to buy me your seasoning line a couple years ago. Do I grind the whole bird? Not really sure where to start. Thanks guys

I watch this with my Bulldog Jack Boy sitting on my lap so he too can drool with me as we watch yet another amazing video from The Bearded Butchers! Awesome to learn helpful tips for my food preparations, hear the give and take between loving family members, see Vintage Family pictures from the Sacred Family Photo Album. The humbleness of this channel mixed with the visual appetizers leaves us Fans with both our Hearts and Tummy's Full! ❤ Very much appreciate the time and effort spent in creating these videos and in showing us all an economical way of getting more out of our daily bread! Cheers and Blessings from down the road in COW-lumbus! MOO 🐮🙏

Awesome video guys. Man that's alot of sausage..haha..
you guys have to much fun..lol..
air fryers are great. I literally use mine 2 or 3 times an day..I cook just about everything in it..mine doesn't have bottom heating elements so it doesn't do pizzas to well. Plus, the wind keeps blowing the pepperoni off .lol it does those little tostino pizzas just fine though. And I don't do burgers in them cause the grease gums up the holes in the racks and it a pain to clean..but, sausage, brats, hot dogs, chicken, pork chops, hot pockets..all kinds of stuff..these air fryers are a godsend..

These are such killer videos. Result looks sooo good, but as just an at-home family guy, there is no room for making 25lbs of anything at a time. And limited to Kitchen Aid grinder/stuffer attachments meant more for the 5-10lb projects for home. A sausage gatling gun!!?? Only in my very best dreams. Gotta go, need to wipe up the drool on the keyboard. Keep em coming!

I will be deboning most of the heritage breed turkeys I am raising this year. Then I will be grinding up the meat to use for various purposes: pet food, and sausage. With that said, what other fat can we use besides pork? We do not consume any pork or pork byproducts. Would this work with suet? Or would that alter the flavor? Love your videos, I’ve learned so much, which helped with the butchering class that I took. Thank you 👍

Question. I have an alpha-gal allergy so I can't eat Mamillian meat. I was wondering, since I can't use tallow or lard for the fat content in these brats/sausages... what would be a good substitute fat that I could mix into the turkey meat that wouldn't effect the taste too much? Would duck fat work?
Also, I vote yes for Turkey De-boning vid 🤙
