What do you think about using the IXPE sheet and PE foam between the PCB and the positioning plate? Also, when I’ve tried modding this keyboard I have had trouble with placing the keyboard back in in alignment with the toggle switch. How do you do this so seamlessly?
The 5075b plus doesn't have an aluminum version unfortunately. You can check out other boards such as the Womier SK75, Rainy75, or even the upcoming Neo75 if you're willing to wait for it. ;)
I have this keyboard 1 mounth and i still cannot believe how good this keyboard is. I will not mention things that i love the most but if you wanna buy this keyboard then.. BUY IT NOW
I just returned mine, it sounds sooo hollow and plasticky, I love the RGB, especially the side RGB. but the quality is not there for the price with the amount of competition out there.
@@mattrox1221I owned one. My second custom board. Definitely do not recommend it either anymore since the releases of premium-feeling, premium-sounding (but actually budget, low priced) aluminium keyboards like the Rainy75 and Bridge75. Both are near identical and can be bought for around the same MSRP price of one of Akko's plastic boards. Alu boards are officially affordable for everyone now. There is no reason not to get one over this.
i was debating about this or the aula f75, i ended up getting the akko since i've heard bad news about the f75 software so i went with the safer choice, also the leobog hi75 was also a super good pick but its only wired!
I really used to love this keyboard, until five of my cream yellow switches randomly broke. Since it's swappable, I ordered some new switches from Epomaker.
Don't actually use the keycap puller AKKO provides if your keycaps are one of their ABS plastic sets. I made dents into the underside of every keycap as I pulled them off.
Appreciate the warning! But im pretty sure most if not all keycap pullers are like this. The culprit usually is how tight the keycaps are mounted to the switches (not our fault)
@@strikemods_ Could very well be. Just haven't experienced this on PBT keycaps yet, so I'm kind of leaning towards the former explanation. Also, using plastic (awful) keycap pullers might mitigate any potential damage to the keycaps as plastic on plastic should even out, no? That is, if you're wrong. 😋
how thick is the EVA foam ?
about 3mm
can't find a PE foam T-T
I love that you included the heavy typing test. Not many people do that :D
Great video, just bought it for 50 euros, was it worth it? Earned a sub btw.
how big is the risk of using the PE foam from the packaging?
Duuuuuude, that transition for putting the keycaps on was insanely smooth, great touch 👌
Are there any shortcut keys to change the color of the side strip?
I dont think so, but better to check the manual just to be sure!
Leaving a comment so I can find this video again when my keyboard arrives.

Hello, any long-term reviews for this board?
Hey! Where can i get the PE white foam you are using ? I am searching the net but cant find any that are 0.15 mm thick ? Any tips ?
Hey! Just search ".5mm anti static PE foam sheet" anywhere, it should pop right up :)
Just bought it because of this guide and review. Thank you ✊

@@eyeb4g absolutely :)
Are there more keyboards with 75% exploded layout (like this one) AND black case+keycaps with shine through? Preferably VIA/QMK, so I can remap keys.

@@mattrox1221dawg it's for sale it's only 75€ 😂 there are not really competitions for that prize
It's there any other keyboard you recommend in the same price point ?
The AULA F75, Leobog Hi75, Womier SK75 (review coming in too) would be great alternatives!
@panda1412.Truly a shame Chilkey doesn't sell the ND75 in Europe, well, not for a reasonable price at least.
