Know what Nate? I knew you were really good at what you did. I've been around enough jobsite to see that? But the way you run pipe is fucking art Nate. I mean it, its beautiful. It's really easy to just run romex everywhere, but to run pipe like you have is truly amazing. I'm really glad you make videos of it. Not many people probably appreciate its but hell I do.
Great job, man. I know exactly how tou feel. All the houses here in Brazil are piped, but with flex EPT not EMT. Long story short... you kick all asses doing what you do. Top of the line, man. Hope one day I get to work with you.
That right there is an exhibit on how the F to bend pipe Nate, I know you’re ready to finish up and close those walls but it’ll almost be a shame that the symmetry and artfulness of your conduit runs will be covered up! Congratulations can’t wait to see it when it’s all done
Top notch work, sir! You've gone above and beyond on all that and it'll definitely pay off! I like hearing all the details so I can keep them in mind for my own stuff. Quite the transformation man! Thanks for sharing!
Your getting it done. A lot of times remodeling old farm houses cost more money and time than building a new house but at least ya got character and history in the old houses. House looking good Nate.
@James Bond As a professional electrician, I would never, every allow anyone I love to live in a house that wasn't done in conduit. The cost for the gold standard is minimal when you work with the stuff every day. Your place of work is protected by conduit and you only spend 40 hours a week there, your kids, wife and possessions aren't there and you probably aren't sleeping there. The home is the most important place to protect.
@@scottgrafer2222 outside of Chicago and the outlying areas, 99% of all houses are wired in NM cable. Would you live in a house built out of wood? Most house fires are not caused by electrical issues. Neary all electrical house fires are not caused by NM cable that is correctly installed. It is pointless to build a house out of flammable materials, but require a non flammable wiring method. I’ve never seen a piece of romex spontaneously combust in the middle of it
AWESOME work on the house there Mr. Nate. You're right, whoever the electrician is that come in behind you will definately be scratching their head & going WTF. LOL Looking forward to seeing the house when it's finished. Stay safe.
Hey Mr Nate, I really like the work you and I have a question. Do they require emt in your state for residential wiring or you just did because it's better and more reliable than romex? Thank you
They require it and Chicago where I live my farm is in Missouri don't live there full time but I put it in because it's better and I'm used to doing it
Now use closed cell foam then sheet rock that will keep your utility bills lower. I am a builder i had a election tell me once if he didnt wire my house together they would blow away. In your case he would say if yours got hit by a tornado it my pick it up and set it down in one piece the way its tried together with all that piping Ha Ha Keep upthe good work. Bale count from first crop?

Wow Will! It does take a little more time but it's the only way to go. Thanks for the compliment man
I wish I could run pipe half as nice as you Mr. Nate, great work definitely motivates me to do the right things even when others don’t
Just keep at it and take your time.

Ya, that would be cool
I shared this with my trade school class. We are doing a section on conduit bending. Thanks for the inspiration!
It’s official when you get your cowboy boots!😆
You’re a smart man to write the check for drywall. You’ve done an amazing job with the place.
Yes ma'am I'm bringing guys from Chicago that I've seen their work firsthand thank you for the compliment
Top work mr Nate
Thanks John I appreciate the compliment but thanks for watching man. I enjoy your comments
I never seen soo much conduit in a house before..Looks nice just alot of work.
i wanna just start writing checks to get my shit done too..... but it hurts me tooo much
Dude if I tried to dry wall that it would take me weeks I'm OCD man
Another nice thing about running everything in pipe like that is that you can use up all your scrap conduit.
I try not to use too many couplings but yes you can definitely be efficient with it

Right on I told my old lady we should have put the pipe on the outside of the walls lol
Mr Nate right. I was thinking that would actually look really cool
I am totally amazed ! You used EMT throughout
Chicago and Chicago suburbs bud
Nate's countryside home restoration, looks amazing nate
Right on man thanks Bud
Look at all that beautifully bent EMT! Holy shit bro! I hate crawl spaces too. I avoid them like the plague!
Yeah man I put threaded 3/4 gas pipe under there. Fuck that lol
Top notch work, sir! You've gone above and beyond on all that and it'll definitely pay off! I like hearing all the details so I can keep them in mind for my own stuff. Quite the transformation man! Thanks for sharing!
Wow man great comment I really appreciate the compliment it's the little details
Your getting it done. A lot of times remodeling old farm houses cost more money and time than building a new house but at least ya got character and history in the old houses. House looking good Nate.
Thanks man I've done the numbers and was definitely cheaper this way but that's because I did all the labor
Love conduit, it should be code everywhere. I would have sent my apprentice into the crawl though, lol. Excellent workmanship Nate!
I would too but flying solo on this one

That pipe work is damn impressive. 💯
Sweet man glad you can appreciate it
AWESOME work on the house there Mr. Nate. You're right, whoever the electrician is that come in behind you will definately be scratching their head & going WTF. LOL Looking forward to seeing the house when it's finished. Stay safe.

Man, you've done a great job.
Right on man
No no no splices in light fixtures
That makes no sense
The red is a nice touch BUT the laser that’s making everything perfect is green just saying Lol looks great your an artist with that pipe!!!
I was wondering if someone was going to say that figures it would be you lol thanks for the compliment man
What is the most number of wires you have pulled through 3/4 inch conduit?
In Chicago the rule is 9 no matter what size
Love it, overkill is the only way
For sure bro

Downright impressive. Apprentices from all over should be lining up to learn from you.

What ever happened to the pool lol

Great doing a great job there 👍 do it once do it right 😀well maybe lol
Sure hope so man
How many times have you moved those kitchen appliances at this point? 🤣
Why you bringing up old shit bro lmao
Where are you sleeping at - just curious - a lot more work needed inside - but it's coming together - it all take time - outside is about all done
I've already got the bedrooms and the bathroom to dry wall have been sleeping in the master bed
Now use closed cell foam then sheet rock that will keep your utility bills lower.

Keep upthe good work.
Bale count from first crop?
Yup, doing the crawl space also. 244 bales off of 55 acres. It will be In the next video
Why not run Romex ?
Pipe is better
Nice work! This will be a fancy farm house. l finally uploaded my tall hay and 826 Farmall if you need to see more red ;)
Yup I watched it
Why all conduit?? Romex is perfectly good. Not sure where your at but ohio theres no need to run conduit in a home
Just a better system. Romex doesn't come close
Is all that house timber framed all houses are built out of concrete blocks here
Yes it is timber framed
Stinking mice an squirrels an all other rodents nothing harder on wiring!
Exactly
