i find 8 and 7 alot, sometimes 3, but i dont think ive found 9 ever, i have found 11 once but a few of them were at a diagonal so i dont know if that counts as a contiguous vein
I was playing on java with mods and i found a vein of 24 i dont know how though. Im assuming it was 3 veins combined, i have a world generation editor called biomes o plenty. Maybe that was it.
I’ve found a 12 vein, before I found the cave where there were the diamonds I was downwards strip mining, it lead into a cave and i was about to leave, but I dug into the wall and found 12 it kept going like a coal vein then it stopped.
2things Once on 1.18 experimental I was mining ages hours and got around 2 stacks of diamonds total, and secondly, in one of the snapshots you could've found glitches diamond veins, btw the new ore veins are enourmus, with blocks of the stuff and can sometimes have thousands of blocks

Somehow today I found a 32 vein I even have proof in anybody asks I will say cords and seed Edit:false alarm I just realized it was copper and I was using a texture pack
o maybe there is something more bigger that’s right iron ore is common so there’s a chance of them spawning is mega vein and there’s a raw iron block next to them like mindblown man and there’s a chance diamonds spawn next to them
No need to say that the amount is normal I personally havent ever found this many tbh

I found 2 eight veins generate next to eachother, I think it was because they spawned on the side of a chunk and joined together

i think he meant rigular diamonds because they are rarer now. deepslate veins can be insane also, but idk
