3rd place in my first Crit race in 3 years | 316w for 33 minutes

Taking a cheeky 3rd-place in my first race since 2019 (UK 4th category). Happy with my effort and well done to all those who raced, particularly the very well deserved winner and runner-up. Really enjoyed myself - was a lot of fun!
No power data or on-bike footage as it's not permitted by British Cycling regs. My average power for the race was 316w with a peak of 996w. Average speed was 24.4mph (39kph).
Lessons learnt: - don't get boxed against the wall at the bell / don't spend too long on the front towing the rest of the bunch around :-)
Thanks to all the kind and dedicated volunteers who make sure these events happen week-in and week-out !

I want to talk about velodromes when you visit. Almost unheard-of here in US.
