It's sad to see great fighters like Nonito and Roy Jones jr, Pac Man and so on not hanging up their gloves in time, when too far over the top. That said, they love the sport and the success of their prime, so of course the dream of more conquest is strong. It's just so sad to watch icons loose because pushing their age.

Manny Pacquiao was so good that the establishment set him up twice with dirty fights against light middleweights in Jeff Horn and later with Ugas to stop him for being relevant.
I think he could have boxed at the elite level until his early forties if had he quit politics.

I always enjoy this fight. Nonito was smaller than Walters, and Walters had the style that is worse for him. a pressure fighter. He has disadvantages in size and in style. Anyway, he gave everything, and I think he just had enough and go blow for blow at the end not caring if he got KO. Nonito is really a great fighter, I'm grateful for have witness his career, since the first fight with Vic Darchinyan (with that upset and all time great KO), to his last great fight vs a prime Naoya Inoue.

Nicholas Walters has heart. But he was mentally break vs Lomachenko. Is really mind blowing how a fighter can be finish with just one fight. It's not necessary a big beatdown or an important injury, just make a fighter doubt of himself: Then is over. The spirit is truly the essential thing in a fighter.

Existem dois motivos óbvios para um veterano continuar lutando: grana, e muito amor pelo esporte... grana eu sei que ele ganhou bastante, então, só pode ser pelo amor que ele tem pelo boxe .
