I watched this while having breakfast and Iced coffee before heading out to do chores. It will be in the low 90's today and I'm loving this view of winter hiking. A really well done film !
Thank you for making this video to show us what to expect on the trail. My friend and I are looking for some trails to backpack on. We live in eastern Kansas close to Missouri.
You are welcome! The Ozark Trail is nice in that there's so much of it to choose from (over 400 miles) and it's easy to do last minute and there are not permits required.
That's interesting! ...I'm learning more and more about the very unique springs and caves that we have here in Missouri. It really makes this a special place!
For sure worth consideration! I sometimes (rarely) remove shoe/socks for water crossings because it gets tedious (and I get lazy), especially when lots of crossings are anticipated. I also stick with trail running shoes (instead of boots), which dry pretty quickly (I use the non-water-resistant version... the water resistant ones hold water once it get into the shoe). Cheers!

I think that it was more than a year ago that divers reached a depth of 472 feet at Roaring River Spring in Barry County Missouri.
