I just got off the Magic 2 weeks ago and I 100% agree with everything y’all said!! Yesssss Ryan was AMAZING!!! He was so fun and yes he was Everywhere he definitely made the cruise!!! Red frog was the hit bar for me and yes the casino bar kept those drinks coming! The staff was top notch our room steward Frank was the best!
Thank you for mentioning how accessable this ship is for mobility chairs. Very few cruise creators do. My husband uses a mobility chair. He and I have an anniversary cruise booked on the Carnival Magic in April 2023.

They tried to put us with the already full table, and I just refused...I'm a size 20 (18 on a good day) and I was not about to squeeze into an already tight situation when there was plenty of seating elsewhere.
Carnival Magic was the last cruise ship I sailed on before the pandemonium 🥲

I found your channel when I was doing research for my first cruise last month on the Paradise. You both have been so helpful. I am planning on going right out of Norfolk on the Magic next September with some friends, it will be their first time. I appreciate your reviews on the Magic. Keeping it all in mind.
I went on Magic in June this year and will be going again in 2 weeks. I had Ryan Rose as well very active cruise director, he was really everywhere. My favorite ship was horizon.

Idea: Always bring a foldable lunch bag, pack a lunch from the buffet for good eats off the ship. All inclusive vacation 👍 don't take a chance and get sick eating food on the islands food carts.
Island food is the best. ✔️
Except for the Mexican ports! If you go to a Mexican port, make sure all your food you bring off the ship is factory packed, otherwise they will confiscate it. I found that out the hard way! Had to wait for lunchtime to eat! Glad they served us lunch on our excursion!

We just got off the ship 3 weeks ago. We hated the service at Italian joint. Took forever to get even a drink. Now steak house was amazing food and service. Bartender went to another bar just to get me a beer I wanted when they didn't have it there. Joey the cruise director was amazing!!! Cheerio!
I’ve sailed on the Magic three times and I like the boat. My favorite room was my last room 12001. It was at the end of the hallway no pass by traffic and the balcony looked forward and outward. I appreciate you two. Thanks for the incite.

I enjoy your videos and learned so much about cruising from y'all. I love the Carnival Magic too and took my first cruise to the Bahamas on her in September 2021. I just returned from sailing on her again, this time to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. I loved, loved, loved it, especially with Cruise Director Ryan Rose. I do wish that I could be on that October 10th sailing. Enjoy your next trip.

I was on the Carnival Magic for my first cruise in 2018. My cruise director was ok and the entertainment was ok. The pool was too small and crowded so I never got in and you're right about the ship layout, we didn't discover the back of the ship where Guy's bbq was until the last 2 days of the trip. What I loved was spending time on the beach during port days, but I'm willing to try out the Magic again since you guys have let me know about sea day brunch and the game shows.
That's why a good travel agent is a must. They will let you know all the ins and outs, at least I will.

The Magic is an awesome ship. Cucina del Capilano is amazing at dinner. Loved the Magic before Covid and before she left Texas.
We enjoyed the Red Frog Pub down on 6. They took good care of us.

My first cruise was on the Magic in Feb of this year. Yes it is somewhat dated but I truly enjoyed myself and hope to sail her again.
@@cynthiadowling6783 it was our first ship too in 2019 for our honeymoon! We have been on it twice since then and love the service and entertainment. It does need some renovation done and someone needs to take lead on the food issue. Everytime we cruised her, the food was not the best.
Went on the Magic back in November, and I probably loved and hated the same things you all did. One part of entertainment I loved the most was the singer who performed in the area near the Alchemy Bar. I forget her name right now but she was absolutely amazing!!!
I’ve also cruised the Carnival Magic back in 2016 and was in a suite. I feel like the crew members learn the names of the cruisers in the suites. We had the same experience of being called by name from place to place.

Was last on the Magic in 2019. The cruise director was Simon. It was one of the most fun ships compared to the many other Carnival ships we've been on.

I was in the Magic leaving from NY from 6/28-7-6 we had a ball. The highlight for me was Ryan Rose. My husband and I have been on many cruises but Ryan brought the energy and fun. His team was great. This is the 2nd video that I’ve watched and you guys seemed down to earth. Since in NY the Magic is being replaced with Carnival Venezia, I hope to see you on one of their sailings. I hope Ryan will be back.

I was on the magic on the May 21st through 26th cruise out of Norfolk and absolutely loved it. The ship was clean, the rooms were great, the staff was awesome, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I'm looking to book another one here soon. I also really liked the fact that there was hand sanitizing stations everywhere you looked. So there was really no need for me to bring the gallon of hand sanitizer that I packed.. LOL.

The lido Marketplace wasn’t great, same things everyday. But it was okay
I can’t lie I will never be sailing with carnival again, simply down to the fact as the ship looked awful, we all caught covid from it ( that can happen anywhere) but I just won’t ever sail with them again, we had money issues they tried taking money from us etc the whole holiday was in fact shit the ports was medium and the New York City stay was the best out of all of it if I’m honest.
