- In our Carnival Magic balcony cabin room tour we'll show you everything you need to know about cruising in a balcony cabin on the Magic. The Carnival Magic balcony cabin we had was on Deck 8 near the middle of the ship. It was a great location to get up or down to restaurants quickly.

I put something in front of the wooden door to give the refrigerator some more ventilation. I saw someone’s comment about that helping it to cool better.
I am going on this ship in December and I got off the Mari gras last year and this is my 20th cruise

There is more storage under the couch. There are 2 drawers underneath the sitting area. Mine had 2 extra pillows there and I informed room attendant that I had removed pillows to use on bed. I then used the drawer for the souvenirs I bought.

The Magic is one of our fav Carnival ships. Loved that one, and the Miracle. We have only been on one we didn't like, that was the Legend. Older ship, needed upgrades. Also the worst crew we have run across on all of our many Carnival cruises. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the aft balcony on any ship. In fact we have stayed in that cabin on all but one cruise. Its roomy, as its an extended balcony. Plus you dont just get the view of one side of the ship, you get to see both sides at once. Was really nice for Panama Canal cruise and the Alaska cruise. Thanks for the tour! We leave 12/22 for our next cruise. Missed one due to the pandemic. Then another in January. Excited to be back to cruising!

Wow! I just found out you two do cruises too. I have been watching your train vlogs. I love, love cruising, and I am excited to watch your cruise vlogs. I love riding trains, but have not been able to ride many. The funniest one was in Europe! It was on my bucket list. We are wanting to take a train down to California, and cruise back.

Nice, concise room tour! Despite this being a new ship, it appears that Carnival’s interior decorator is keeping to their corporate standard of design and layout. I didn’t know about the “bunk-bed” from the ceiling. There may be a few more bathroom shelves since our last voyage on Carnival. Anxiously awaiting your Magic ship tour!
The room seemed bigger than the Mardi Gras, so that was nice, and included a table which we really like. Crazy, but we needed to do a little work on the cruise and that helped a lot. I think the ship tour is coming out in like 10 days.
i didnt think this ship was all that new actually - was built in 2011 with some renovation in 2016 plus the most recent drydock last year i believe

Thank you for the room tour I'm on the 4 th sailing of the Magic August 30 this Monday I was upgraded from deck 8 to deck 10 we are port side just 10 rooms from going out on the lido deck I watch your videos thank you again

We have a balcony room booked for our upcoming, and I agree there is plenty of room here. However, I will go back to a suite in the future. The extra space in the bathroom really is challenging to give up. Great video; thank you so much for taking the time to make it.

Thanks for all the good info especially about the plug situation. We are due to sail in 2 weeks on Magic still no idea if we are going to go or get canceled. It is nerve wracking trying to plan with covid still with us. We are all but quarantining to be as likely as possible to pass our tests all the while knowing that it all could be for nothing.

You can order the water on the carnival website before the cruise and we got the convertor on Amazon. There should be a recent video about it with links.
Can you give a link to the 220v adapter you showed in your video? I'm having trouble finding it on Amazon.

@Billy Knock…rooms are similar with Carnival giving a little more space, NCL has a little nicer decor if that matters. Personally I like the variety of food better on Carnival. Love Guys burgers, 24 hour pizza & Blue Iguana on Carnival.
Did you ever get the Xbox working? I've never thought of bringing my Xbox on a cruise, and my wife would probably not like it, but I'm intrigued.

Don’t forget as a red member you get one of the free 1 liter bottles of water per person. Instead of being in your room you can claim it at any bar

Yes, we travel with everything we own, so they come with us even though they are mostly for the train!
