It’s pretty good, and like Piranha, manages to avoid being just a JAWS ripoff. It might have been made to cash in on the killer animal craze, but it’s a film all it’s own when you really look at it. And as we can see here, like JAWS, it is beautifully shot!
Honestly, the movie really stands on its own When it comes to being a Jaws-like movie, Orca does a much better job at being its own separate movie, than 90% of sharks movies out there. Even the Jaws sequels can't really stand on its own as Orca does (with the notable exception of Jaws 2)
My all time "movie of the week " on tv when I was 15. What a masterpiece. Ennio Moricone´s score is something beyond human comprehension. I cried billions of times after watching this film. It is about revenge and its consequences..no win scenarios both sides.
These two orcas were Nepo (male) and Yaka (female). They were very close, and when a second female (Kianu) would try to bully Yaka, Nepo would protect her.
Good movie and sad movie especially when the female along with the baby dies and than the Male pushes his mate to shore with this music always a tear jerker
Saddest part about the whole movie. Is the opening sequences to killer whales in captivity sea world .....The reason why you can tell is their top dorsal fin Bench over along with their tail. Fins are curled in for being in such tight quarters. Humans gotta love them
That first shot is so beautiful!
Orca was such an underrated film. I hope it sees the fame it deserves someday
Well it is becoming quite popular in recent years so maybe

Orca was jumping in the open ocean with his mate! This is a happy scene!
That was shot at Seaworld.
The Romeo and Juliet of dolphin movies......

Good film, 70's style.
Her voice still gives me chills 🥶🥶
I don't blame the whale.
There are no dislikes for any of the uploads. This cannot be a coincidence. thank you Maestro Morricone.

Looks like they're making love, the child that would be so tragically lost ❤
Beautiful love.
Smurfs: Lilly and blossom.
We're the Orcas here supposed to be the main ones in the movie? They both were truly happy at first until humans ruined it.
