No one can say why the activation to the radio is hit or miss. One last question, you had alarms showing on the cluster. How did you fix that?
the cable makes the controls on the steering wheel work with the cluster! not with the radio, that requires more work. those alarms i already had previously.
no i didn’t connect them to the stereo. from what i’ve seen it’s a lot more work to get them to work with the stereo. i only connected them to the cluster

While you had that all apart you should have gone one step further....I changed my wheel out for the heated wheel. Change the clock spring, and the wheel and run one wire for power. Plug was already there.
@@dopezamora I can understand that. It's my favorite addition so far. Does the dash display show any of the android auto stuff? Will the map show up from the android auto or car play? I see navigation does but I don't use that. I use Google maps.

programming is separate. you can buy a brand new cluster and they’ll program it for you thru their website tho
