    Because of you, and the Tacoma Company, I have an awesome, no much more than awesome blast cabinet! I am from Washington, and I talked to Mike before ordering. Back then, they emailed me the list of stuff. I then picked and choose my options. It went smooth.
    I can only imagine how much better a website would be, but I preferred the man to man conversation over the phone.
    Anyway, if any of you are thinking of doing these upgrades, do it! Its really satisfying do make them, but also will save you massive time while blasting things!

    Used the Ray's Garage videos to make my decision and after talking to Mike ordered everything shy the meter and lights. There were a couple tweaks I made to it (mainly the glass setup), but love how quickly I can switch media and the blast quality is phenomenal. Then to find a skat blast vacuum, for free at an estate sale, was the icing on the cake.
    I've used many blast cabinets, but mine is now the best I've ever used. Thanks Ray for your videos and Tacoma Co.

    I loved all your Upgrade videos. Talked to Mike at the beginning of the week and he said the website was coming. I just bought a used older HF blast cabinet, Mike knew which one I had and what mods would fit. Great you could be the source for folks to know about the new site.

    Good to see you back on the air again! I don't have a blast cabinet (yet), and HF is kind of hard to shop at here in Northern Alberta, but I'll definitely check Tacoma's website out. Looks like a good family business.

      Hey Z06Doc, Not paid but Tacoma did supply all upgrades including shipping for zero cost! Even if I had to pay for these upgrades it’s worth every cent! My cabinet kicks ass!

    RAY!!! Ive been thinking about you my man... good to see you again, I know when I reached out you said you had some personal issues, I hope all's well. Based on your video, I did build the upgrades, and I tell you what, you cant just do a single upgrade, to have the system work well, all of the pieces need to work together, so buy it all at once, and save yourself time and energy... unlike me. Going back to buy more upgrades I didnt get the first time. Great to see you back buddy!!

    Hi Ray, I’m posting on here a question for you. By the way,I’ve watched all your videos and did most everything to my blast cabinet as you did, works great!
    My question is, have you blasted anything powder coated? I have some small aluminum steps for my 4x4 which I want to clean up. I want the aluminum look instead of black powder coat. I thought I’d ask before I try, thanks!

    • @RaysGarage
      @RaysGarage  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello and thank you for watching the series! Short answwer is no, powder coat is plastic and the media bounces off of if it instead of cutting it. The best way to remove powder coat is with heat, melt/burn it off then media blast your parts. Best Regards, Ray
