Yes yes yes you can do this. I have a lovely lady in Wisconsin about to enbark on one as well. Lots have asked if I could do similar era designs, so I've leapt into action. You are absolutely talented and I have been obsessed with Flemish/Dutch design ever since I visited the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC and was enamored by the Dutch/Flemish gallery where there were lavish and vibrant still-life arrangement paintings. They have haunted the heck out of me ever since, so now I want to create a real arrangement. Yours is simply gorgeous!!!! I feel like there is one flower missing though, but I can't help but think of the striated tulips. Perhaps they belong on a smaller arrangement though, because in this lovely piece- they might be underwhelming. Regardless, your work is LOVELY and I have learned a lot. Very inspirational video. Hello Gigi, I am thrilled that you loved this design. Like you I too love what the GREAT MASTERS painted especially when you understand the time they invested in portraying all the flowers over the seasons. To me they are a floral feast. You are CORRECT about the tulips but I just couldn't find any at the time. I have my new range of permanent botanicals due for release shortly and the tulip was the first flower I had to have made. Once everything arrives I plan to repeat that design for my new studio. Lovely to hear from you Astar

I love your arrangements! I'm not so fond of silk flowers, but in your arrangements they look great :) I would also love to see more fresh flowers arrangements...it's not so easy to work with them -there's not so much bending and you need to be carefull with their sensitivity..so I would like to find your vision on that :D

What would be a pricing on a large scale arrangement like this one? This is so beautiful
Hi Leon, I love this design and gift them on annually then make a new one. I start with the base and add as each new season arrives. The cost depending on the amount of flowers used is a couple of hundred dollars but so well worth it. In saying this, cheaper than some designer handbags! Kind regards Astar

Paula the design is massive. Container is around 1' x 1'.
Rule of thumb for correct proportions is 1 & 1/2 times height or width of container - which ever is the greatest measurement. The container I used is my favourite. Strong & sturdy.
I'll try in future to explain this rule in more depth plus actually share measurements as I go through designs.
