i love that you used hosta leaves! last night, i cut leaves off a hosta that was impeding on my walkway and rather than throw them away, i filled a glass milk bottle with cold water and the hosta leaves. this morning, i'll cut some roses to bring a spot of color.

So fun watching Martha in her decorating zone. I used to watch all episodes of her show at Turkey Hill. Love the crystal! I am a believer in using vessels created for different purposes--as was done with the pencil holder. If it is beautiful, it will work! It doesn't matter what the original intent was for. On another note... I desperately need that cake stand in the background! I just searched for it online and do not see it anywhere. Is this a Martha Stewart product? Thank you for this video. I always thought bringing back flower or vegetable seeds from overseas was illegal. Martha can you clarify how you get to do it without customs knowing or disallowing? 😃
Not a legal expert, but I think packaged seeds are clean, you can get them even on ebay, but seedlings with soil come with papers from the nursery you got them from....best ordered by mail. Your seeds will give you new varieties you can name!
