Most of the planes were Dornier 17's I believe. A somewhat less known medium bomber. The more famous were the Heinkel 111 and the great Junkers 88. Also the sleek twin engined Messerschmidt 110 was the one towed out from the hangar. It was a fighter aircraft. Some scrapped French planes were on the junk heap. The tri engined plane briefly seen could have been an Italian bomber.

      Isn't three engines plane a JU-57 transport?

trimotor is a JU52 transport. There was a lot of JU88, DO17Z; one french fighter scrapped and a lot of french recon and bomber planes destroyed

The Germans were careful not to disrespect French cultural and historical monuments. I've seen videos of German troops laying flowers on Napolean's monument.

Footage I'd never seen before, so, very refreshing indeed. Very well filmed and with the atmosphere of Wagner playing away - perfect.

Notice the lead marcher at 5:00 with the Arc de Triomphe in the background. The lead marcher at 6:10 looks different (slimmer). I have a close up of the lead marcher near the Arc de Triomphe from "Life's Picture History of World War II". He is somewhat of a beefcake. I guess he may have pooped out and got replaced.

Interesting to see no goose-stepping. The aircraft "factory" was fascinating, I bet the British would have loved to have had a copy of it to study.

The German bicycle infantry should've done laps of the Champs Elysees with a sprint finish like they'd just competed in the Tour de France.

Colour what colour ? Is my eyesight going ? Perhaps there is something wrong with my computer , could there be rust on the chips ?
Looking at that parade I does look slightly comical now . But of course for the Parians at the time it would have been very sinister .

What's with TH-cam's shitty comment program that when you reply to a straight forward question, the reply gets SUPPRESSED. (Click "view reply" under Micke Nieminen's comment and see only the "hide replies" prompt.) He asks, "What is that temple-looking building at 05:48 ?" .....My apparently offensive answer: I believe it is the La Madeleine Church. Yes, I think it is still standing.

Ompha ompha up and down the heart of Paris ...what a nightmare. Soldier with the kettle drum looks as though he can hardly cope with it. Its almost bigger than him!! Notice how as they turn into some major street they change into the goose step? Wonder how kettle drum soldier boy coped with that? Film finishes before we get a good shot of him.. . That sort of marching is ridiculous. Leave it to the geese.

And all of them were dead by 1944. Was a lousy generation to be born into.
