Danish War Museum, Copenhagen MM032

The Danish War Museum (Krigsmuseet), is located in central Copenhagen and houses a large collection from the 17th century to the modern day. On display are collections of weapons and artillery, uniforms and headdress; not only from the Danish army and navy also a surprisingly international collection from American Civil War uniforms to Samurai armour. The Danish Wars against Sweden and Prussia and the later Second World War and Cold Wars have their own displays and there is also an exhibition to show life as a Danish soldier in Afghanistan.
