Thank you. I always do everything I can to help the not so healthy ones get back on their feet.

Thank you for these videos/- I’m dealing with a similar issue. Our vet has recommended a surgery to try and correct. Hoping for the best for Tweety ❤️

You’re very welcome! I hope that your birdy heals quickly and these videos help. Unfortunately, we ended up putting tweety down, she was not responding to anything I did and continued to get worse very quickly.

Oh..... I’m so sorry to hear that. 😥
I’d been trying daily with hobbles, massage, slingtime and PT-- no change. Hopefully surgery will correct.

Looks like she might have a slipped tendon in her left leg, the twisted one. Look up how to fix a slipped tendon. I hope this helps.

@@Sandra-pe3fe thank you for the advice, but this was three years ago and she, sadly, did not improve. We ended up putting her down because the condition worsened over time. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for the videos. I'm sorry it didn't work out for Tweety. I have a keet with a similar issue. Could I ask what the worsening issues were that led to putting Tweety down? I'm nervous about what's coming next for ours.

@@PreachingwithPerry for Tweety, she just didn’t get better and the bigger she got the more of a problem the leg became. Her quality of life continued to decrease and that just didn’t seem fair to us. We gave it our best to correct the situation, but it just didn’t get better 🤷‍♀️

@@FarmGirlInProgress Looks like we may be heading that way too. This incubation stuff is hard on the heart. Thank you for your post and replies.

Would you be able to show us how tweety looks today if you still have her

Unfortunately this treatment did not work for her. And because of the severity of her leg, she was suffering quite a lot, we decided to put her down.

I'm going through the same thing. Can we get an update?

Unfortunately she was not improving and we put her down. I’m sorry you’re experiencing the same thing. I would recommend reaching out to a poultry vet and see if there is anything they can do. Best if luck!
