So heartbreaking. There is no excuse and no reason at all why factory farms exist. I wonder what happened to the other poor chickens that were left at the factory farm that were not able to be rescued by her. This is soul crushing. RIP 🕊🌈
The reason factory farms exist is consumers refuse to pay for the costs of raising animals outdoors and humanely. We want cheap food year round. The quickest way to change things is to spend your money ONLY at stores that offer pasture-raised meat - trust me, it works every time.
The way to end this is to STOP HUMAN PROCREATION. Humans need to eat animal products to stay alive. If people know this and decide to bring more humans the demand for meat keeps growing so if we want it to cease to exist then we must stop making more humans. You don't do anyone a favor when you choose to procreate. It's absolutely selfish and all around destructive.
@@k.s.k.7721 Guess what? Many many people cannot afford to shop any differently. The only way to truly solve the problem is for all humans to give up meat or for money to be eliminated so everyone, regardless of their financial sitation, has access to "humanely" (there really is no such thing) treated dead animals. And, in case you're one of those ignorant twats that thinks people can simply get "better jobs," there are literally more humans than there are jobs, let alone well-paying jobs. It is literally impossible for every single person to get a well-paying job. And since businesses are too greedy to pay every employee a livable wage that would allow them to afford more expensive food, and since humans have been forced to rely on having money to survive, people do what they have to do.
This is not only a video about trust, love, friendship and caring, it is also an educational video. I had to pause now and then to take in what I'm seeing and hearing. Thanks for sharing the amazing life of not only a chicken, but of Henrietta.

Shakira and Bruno with their week of love and then Henrietta developing her bond with Andrea for a year was precious. Skateboarding, Roomba dancing, shower singing, bedroom sleepovers, true friendship.
I am sobbing. First tears of sadness then tears of happiness. Thank you for your compassion for these chickens. Humans can be so cruel!
They deserve to live a safe life where they are loved and cared for
I'm glad the 3 of them got to experience some freedom and love before they passed. What a wonderful experience. My neighbor has chickens, and they are just the sweetest.
Around the age of 6 or 7 I found a single black chick in our yard and I instantly fell in love with him. He was how I turned into a bird lady. He was my son for years and the amount of love I had for him really did mold my life.
The niced thing here is that you as mother planted the seed by your daugther to think about the animals in her futher live and by that way it makes the circle round in thoughts in live ,great job mother...netherlands..
I am balling my eyes out now. What a lovely story ❤
Beautiful story of love ❤️ and compassion.
Hello Gorgeous
@@officerdibble Thanks for the heads up!! 🤗 I just ignore those comments anyway.
This video made me smile and cry. I love this family for giving this chicken a second chance and she passed away knowing what real love is like. Unlike her other friends on the farm
Beautiful story 👍👍
Henrietta must be very greatful that her siblings/friends were given a taste of freedom before they passed.
My heart is so broken for all the ones that have to suffer. Your daughter is an ANGEL❤❤❤❤❤
Literally tears in my eyes. Most creatures are capable of love and affection. Even chickens. What a moving, lovely little story. Factory farming is so cruel and evil.
Must say I’ve never seen a chicken skateboard before this either. So many special moments in this video. Thought it was funny and cool when she responded to her name aswell ❤
Chickens have HUGE hearts ♥️ 💕
Aw man. Learning at the end that she already passed away is so sad but I’m glad she got the chance to live a happy life with this family. ❤
What a lovely mom and daughter that little girl is gonna be an amazing adult.
Mom of the year! Way to teach kindness and caring to your lovely daughter.
Thank you for respecting their lives 💜
Poor babies I wish we weren’t so cruel to animals th so you so much for taking care of them God Bless
Thank you for the beautiful story. Sorry for your loss. 💕💕

Such a beautiful angel. Thank you so much for loving her and taking care of her. Glad she had a loving, joyful life at the end. All Beings deserve Love, Kindness and Compassion. ❤️💚💜🙏🙏🕊🕊🐓🐓 Campaign against the cruelty and barbarity of chicken farming as well as other evil farming mistreatment conditions of other local animals.
Thank God for people like you
Okay, the daughter is AMAZING!!!!...I know why....her mother is also AMAZING....what a GREAT mother who passed this pure love down onto her daughter!!! God bless them both!!!!! Both are beautiful inside and out!
Great example of a human being 🎉❤
We are a cruel race and this child, an angel
Chickens and roosters are actually pretty awesome pets. They have such funny personalities .
I LOVE chickens and I ADORE smart children. How delightful to see both in one video!
Personas así me hacen volver a creer en el ser humano 😍. Abrazo grande y bendiciones desde Uruguay
Receiving and giving love from any life form no matter how long you're on this earth. It matters.
I am SOOOO grateful for all you do for animals, education and policy regarding the realities of factory farming at Mercy for Animals. xoxox
Bless you for giving Henrietta for the wonderful life she had❤️
We have a Polish chicken called storm.
She actually goes to a Special needs school with my grandaughter. She's very much loved there and is so relaxed she happily lays eggs while in school
Your family has a beautiful soul to save chickens 🐔 ❤️ like that. That was awesome. God bless you 🙏 and family 😇🥰😍😊
Such a heartwarming story. ❤️ …Wish more people would see them as live, feeling, thinking beings.
So beautiful friendship between girl and chicken
Hello deat
One of the sweetest stories I’ve ever read. Thank you for sharing.
soooo cute. Broiler chickens are so funny and great company. Andrea has really been raised right
So heartbreaking.
If you have cats and dogs, this is a huge reason why they exist.
Thank God for humans like this girl. Hope she doesn’t let anyone harm the 🐤 God bless all the Animals and the good humans on this planet.
This is sweet. The child is obviously influenced by very compassionate parents as it clearly shows.
Love that robo-surf 😂.
I raised my chickens from peeps, and they are very spoiled, happy little girls. They really do have their own little personalities and silly quirks.
It is so heartwarming to know that Henrietta knew nothing but love for the large majority of her life ☺️❤️
This is not only a video about trust, love, friendship and caring, it is also an educational video. I had to pause now and then to take in what I'm seeing and hearing. Thanks for sharing the amazing life of not only a chicken, but of Henrietta.
When we were younger, our parents took us to a poulet farm. The housing stunk to high hell like could never imagine. The number of chickens crammed in there was unimaginable. I'm going back, some fifty years. Watching this and you hear some of the stories, you get reminded of an experience if you had one, but when you're so young and the circumstances were never in question; you never thought about it. At least Henrietta got to have a life and had some loving.
Beautiful outcome to a sad situation. Thanks for reminding us that there are good people like you guys 💕
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
Every beings are connected with each other by hearts not by bloods❤️🔥
All of these videos make me so happy I cry😭 I hope you make the world a better place💙💙
What incredible wisdom you are sharing with your sweet and caring daughter.
So wholesome, and yet so sad how Henrietta’s siblings were gone so young. At least she lived a full life for them.
