Well done! In many TH-cam videos I’ve seen, no one address the hair safety as you have. Thank you! I have short hair, but I see alot of videos of quilters with long hair. Secretarial training use to tell people to watch out for hair or long necklaces when using typewriters, who uses these anymore… but the same applies to all equipment. You can get pulled in fast! Thanks again!❤

Thanks so much! A lot of my undergrad days were spent in chem labs so I think it's just second nature at this point to put my hair up. Even when I eat!

Yes a million times to the lint roller!!! I will leave the house with thread pieces all over me, realizing too late! Thanks for a fun & informative video!

The atomizing spray bottle is such a cute design! I’ve put it one my shopping list.

Great video. I love to have my Panasonic cordless iron nearby for when I find wrinkles on my quilt that is already on the frame.

Thank you for the recommendation of the quilting clips for floating the quilt top. I’ve wanted something like that for a while now and didn’t know where to find them. Looks like I have the same set up as you, though I don’t have the Qmatic. Glad to know it will work with my frame!

I am getting me that spray bottle! I've been using an old TRESemme Heat Protectant spray bottle filled with water and alcohol to iron down my seams. Hahaha! Don't know why I never thought to look into one of these.

      What does the alcohol do?

@loriar1027 the alcohol keeps the water from getting that mildew smell.

I use most of the same items that you use. I do need to get those self threading needles! I have been thinking about them but I wasn’t sure if the head would be too large -
I see that it is not and works perfectly. Thank you for all of the tips.

I got mine off of Etsy years ago. It was a great investment! There’s a stiletto on the other side and they both store away inside the tube. This person makes them and has rave reviews: www.etsy.com/listing/1103949439/
