It seems to me when there is something for quilting even though it's been other places before it costs 4 times as much. Also I would expect quilting items not plates and stickers.

When I was a teacher my fav holiday was summer vacation!! Now I'm retired so it's probably Thanksgiving. Everyone comes over, shares food, love, memories, and laughter 😊

my husband bought the xmas box as a gift for xmas from him. It cost $300 in Canadian money. It's worth every penny! I am going to get started on xmas cards using the ones supplied by day one opening.. We are snowed in so it's a great way to spend the day.

When you opened up the envelope, seeing the quality of the paper, my first thought was: SAVE THE ENVELOPES. When you opened up the card kit, I knew I had to tell you about a TH-cam channel called "Treasure Books". She makes what they call "junk journals". She will show you how to use all sorts of paper to make amazing things with paper, including how to make books. I think you have a daughter that is about eight (maybe a little bigger)? Let her see a couple of the Treasure Books videos - - if she like crafting, either you or your daughter what to do from there!

Christmas for sure!

I enjoy making quilted projects for Christmas, but the older I get, the more difficult decorating becomes. There’s a puppy in the house this year, so we won’t be putting up a tree. I love the way you are displaying the packages under your tree, and I’m looking forward to seeing your videos for the daily openings. Last year I learned that Jenny’s videos were for purchasers of the box only.

I used to subscribe to quarterly boxes , but fairly quickly found out what a waste of money they were. Same notions, cheap trivets, lotions, boring pattern etc. I think these boxes contain items that don’t sell well, and so are used to fill boxes. I’m actually surprised that this trend continues.

A dollar a button? I will live without a snowman. Is the thread - - 3 spools of a 110 feet per spool? That I can live with. Definitely looking forward to your "mystery bag" reveal. Always fun! The fabric was fine! Your quilting was quite unique! I like putting a lot of curves onto a straight line quilt. Turnstiles looked very fun.

So total of $80'sh. They usually have cool boxes.

Eh. $30 for buttons? And 2/3 were just round black ones? That would’ve ticked me off if I paid for that box.

I love the quilting on the half-square triangle quilt. So glad that I did not buy the Jolly Box this year. The items were nice, but nothing that I would decide to purchase for myself. In fact, I did not purchase any Christmas fabric this year because there were no lines that I loved. I did spend a lot of money on fabric in November, though. I bought two layers cakes of Tula Pink Untamed, and then I bought yardage of my favorite prints plus some Untamed wideback. I don’t know if I like the feel of the Free Spirit Untamed sateen yardage. Have you long-armed any quilts that used Free Spirit cotton sateen? I used my Fat Quarter Shop discount to buy two colors of Grunge wideback yardage just in case I decide against the sateen for the Untamed quilt I have planned. I also bought a couple of spools of Aurifil thread. I’m assuming that price increases will be coming in 2025, so I’m stocking up on thread and batting. My fabric stash is big enough to last a long time. I really enjoyed your Jolly Box opening, and I’m looking forward to seeing what came in your mystery bag. My order wasn’t quilt large enough to qualify for a bag.

WOW! The dragonfly quilting is AMAZING! the contrast of thread really made the design pop.

The little scissors are a different color of a pair I have owned for a number of years. Like you, I would not pay $20, however, I do like the sharp tip. Hint! There is a wrong way to put the plastic sheath onto the scissors. I have not figured out yet why that is the case, but if you get it sideways, the round hole will not secure the sheath to the scissors. As always, love the fabric!

Yes, we can see that. The book is FANTASTIC! The authors are well-known, usually traditionalists, and I love numbers, but when I really need to know how many, where, that book is worth getting excited over!

Lot’s of luck getting all those quilts quilted. I hope your new machine makes your work go smoothly. Happy Thanksgiving. I don’t get the Sew Sampler boxes because there is rarely anything in them that I would use, and you always have to buy more of something to complete their quilt design. I bought the Jolly box in 2022 and 2023, but I didn’t order it this year because there are always too many items that I don’t use.
