Hey Ya'll - Thanks for watching our version of "Dream On" by Aerosmith. This song seemed like a real challenge to re-create a cappella, so with the help of our friends Rob Dietz and Omar Cardona we jumped into the apocalypse and sang our faces off. Thankfully, no singers were cannibalized in the making of this video.

Geoff Castellucci is dropping a cover of ( Bill Withers ) "Ain"t No Sunshine " this morning. Dream ON was filmed in an abandoned high school. Fun fact it was also used in a Horror film.
I watched it last night oh, and to say I was left speechless was an understatement. His version of this song makes anyone who hasn't experienced that kind of Loss from a relationship that went South understand it to their very core... It is that effective at driving the point across. Cannot wait for you to see some of the other TH-cam reactors respond to this video. A lot of the women who haven't seen this yet are going to need a minute afterwards, and definitely need some milk
@@arnoldsherrill2585 Yes they will. I can feel the sorrow in this song. A buddy of my husband went through it back in the '70s. Came home to an empty home. His wife had the movers and a crew arrive just after he had left for work. She only left the things that were his including his dog. He was a very broken man.

I was so excited to see another Voiceplay reaction from you guys! This song is amazing! And I agree with you, Layne's alien noises are what blew me away the most too.

This can be looked at as a sequel to their version of Warriors. The zombies have taken J None and Earl and the guys picked up Omar and Cesar along the way. Amazing song!

I'm in awe of their ability to turn a song like this into A Cappella style! Geoff did a great job arranging this. Eli, Cesar and Omar's high harmonies were fantastic, Geoffs bass is insane and as for Layne.. Not sure he's quite human but sounds ridiculously good! I'd never heard the song before, gave it a listen afterwards but I think I prefer VP's version! Loved the reaction, thanks! 🙂👍
I just found out that that last HIGH Note isn't Omar it's Cesar. Said so himself on Mortius's channel.
Yeah, the baritone is singing higher than the two tenors on the Tyler scream. So cool! But with this lineup, they functionally have five tenors, five baritones, at least two beatboxers, three basses, and one basso profundo.

I'm really old, so did not know this song at all. I guess I wasn't paying attention in the right decade. This is an amazing, moving piece done by Voiceplay. I listened to the original after - I like this one better. The lyrics are so great and Voiceplay lets me hear them.

You haven't reacted to any of Geoff Castellucci's (the bass here) solo work. I'd recommend that you start with House of the Rising Sun, but he has a new one dropping at noon EST.
You didn't know one of the biggest songs of the 1970s? This is one of those songs that's been in everything in the past 50 years. Sorry but I don't believe you, it's like not hearing stairway to heaven, or smoke on the water. Regardless, have a good one.

@@vvoof2601 Not everybody listens to the same kind of music and not everybody focuses on music at all periods in their life. I had heard the song but mostly in the background of a life that was pretty chaotic at the time. If you had asked me anything about that song, I wouldn’t of had a clue. I heard it but it simply wasn’t in my radar.
I am older so that may have something to do with it and I simply wasn’t/aren’t into that kind of music.
I wouldn’t expect you to know the biggest song of every decade, why would you expect others to?
Ilona Denver, I hadn’t heard this before either, despite the fact that I liked Aerosmith and had two records from them. Perhaps this song wasn’t that big in my country, or I somehow missed it anyway. I too listened to the original after hearing VoicePlay’s version. I enjoyed the original too. But VoicePlay remains my favourite, seems like they always do! 😊

Maybe its because im a bass myself, but Geoff's bass in this song is soooo difficult that I don't think many understand. Myself, a 15 year old bass, the lowest note ive hit is a B0, and Geoff blows me out of the water. Everyone did so well, but of course my brain takes me to the bass automatically.

So apparently this was filmed in Ellie's old School I'm from the UK so idk if it was his middle school or high school also Geoff's F#1 sub sounds so similar to the one he did in sandy clause
Leesburg High School. Will have to confirm with BTS for this. It was funny that Kathy (Geoff's wife) was going to put black tape on Layne's leg because he forgot black socks. Not sure why it mattered since I don't remember them showing Layne's feet. Geoff always has perfect hair and voice. Great reaction!

Good harmony (If they not using auto-tune und/or pitch correction?), but sorry...This ist not even worthy comparison to das original Aerosmith ROCK music composition. I would never buy this... Maybe if they gave it away for free...Maybe? But probably I would not waste petrol or my time to find it in a store. This type of American GenZ hip-hoppity ist not my thing anyway. I could believe das current American generation may like it though. Auf Wiedersehen :)
