If you'd like to continue your journey after we arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, my friends at Slipstream Motion Pictures have you covered. Check out their video of a relaxing drive through midtown & downtown Atlanta here: th-cam.com/video/PogMXj7ZYuA/w-d-xo.html I figured many of you may enjoy this type of content as it allows you to continue the journey, with the same relaxing style of filming!
i’ll never get over how amazing these machines are. Everything from just watching the plane from the window, to boarding, to taxiing, to taking off and finally landing. The whole experience always excites me
Flying a 757, 747 and A340 are in my bucket list. I haven’t flown a 747 since 2005, Never flown the A340, and it’s been 6 years since I flown a United 757. Time goes by so fast.
@Sla31 Awsome Video Great Shots Of The 757 Pushback & The Gate Arrival At The Beginning Plus You Flew On My Favorite Plane The 757 Also My Second Favorite Airline Great Job Keep The Videos On American & Delta Coming
Wow amazing to see delta and United still holds the most 757's. Last i flew on one was from lax to OGG on united in 2015. It was one of the last of their PW4000 series engines that UA had registered late 80s tail and it wasn't the continentals newer RR 757 engines. Nice video
Yeah, I took off from here back in early 1986 when I went to Trinidad and Tobago. It was Pan Am, a 737 (I think) and it was my first foreign adventure. When I checked in at the ticket counter and the agent said "May I see your passport, please" it all became much more real to me as in "wow, this is really happening!". We went right over Puerto Rico and I got to see the ridges and valleys. But anyhow, It's almost time for me to watch today's General Hospital. Ava Jerome is trying to push Sonny over the edge.
Why is it every airport featured here is way nicer than my airport - EGPH / EDI. Anyway, time to settle down to watch another great flight (with headphones on), this time to Atlanta. 😊
You know what they say about grass being greener haha. From my travels I’ve learned that you often look at new places and airports with rose colored glasses. You’re enamored so to speak. I’ve found that you often lose that and realize it isn’t so great when you end up there again 🤣.
One things for sure, there's always another flight I haven't taken before. I don't currently have any plans to fly EWR to PBI, but you never know what might happen! Thanks for watching my friend!
@@subwaybe2008 i go on multiple flights a year not as much as SLP but it it feels nervous prior to the flight and then when you on the plane it don’t feel that bad
@@J3hooper I can believe that ! I'm just not a person who enjoys heights. But I'm not gonna let that stop me from flying one day soon. Thank you for your motivation. It's needed ! Lol
Many AA arrivals waiting on gates it seems. As an ex-NWA employee, it made me smile this flight and the A320 parked at the adjacent gate were ex-NW aircraft. I miss those red-tails. Boeing goofed by not keeping the 757 assy line open a bit longer for fear, I'm guessing, of hurting the sales of others. The 757 is the only acft that is quite capable at SNA, BUR or MDW but can reach western Europe from anywhere east of the Miss. river. Astounding to me that bird is late 70s/early 80s tech!!
They sure did. That's always been a bit of a mystery to me. I get at the time orders were lagging, but they basically handed that market to Airbus on a silver plater withe the A321 and what Airbus has done with it since. I guess it fits right in with a lot of the decisions Boeing's made in the last 20 years haha.
@@sla31 add to that, the 767-300, sister to the 757, is still being produced as a freighter for FedEx!! Sales of certain Airbus' ( A330-200 & A319 - all Neo's ) are still avail WITH the A350 and 320/321 Neo's!
Awesome flight! Looked like a pretty turbulent one. For some reason, on the clearest days, ATL has the worst and most unexpected turbulence just like at 1:54:34! Thanks for posting &flying
@@sla31 It appeared like a beautiful day to fly and clear skies. Can someone explain why was it bumpy during landing? As in, what additional weather situation might cause turbulence (besides hilly terrains, storms, etc.). Thank you
I'm glad you enjoy them my friend. I hold the camera by hand, so in this case it was my left hand 😂. And yes, even on longer flights, I hold it by hand to ensure the smoothest possible final video.
Hey Traveler. I guess flight attendants get twitchy about the camera mount ?? Did you get "Any" sleep ?? You must be on the rear runway system, because you are traveling towards the tower on the western end. From the 94th Aero Squadron, in front of the airport, that tower is on the Western Side of the airport. Gear Drop 2:00:00
Well I don’t usually use a mount, and I never would on a short flight like this. So, I don’t usually have to deal with that problem. That said, some airlines just don’t allow it period. And on the ones that do, half of the time the crew tells you you can’t use them anyway. So that’s one of the big reasons I just film by hand. Can’t tell me to stop holding my phone in my hand 🤣
The answer will likely surprise you. Two. I only have two pairs. The black low top pair that you usually see, and my special high top Southwest pair. See I usually wear a pair to death before I buy a new pair. I generally don’t have more than one pair at a time 😂.
Hi. I’m interested in trying to make these types of full flight videos. I only have an IPhone 13 Pro for filming. Can I learn how to make these videos? For my real life videos I download them and email it to my computer. Do you use the built in camera for the phone? Thanks.
Yup, I just use the built in mic and camera. I’m currently using iPhone 14 Pros. I had switched to 15 Pros, but there was a bug with the camera that would cause it to just randomly stop recording. It took Apple too long to figure out what the bug was, and by the time they fixed it, it wasn’t worth getting 15’s again. I’m just waiting for 16’s now. No special apps or anything. Just iPhones at 4K 60fps with full HDR enabled.
@@sla31 Thanks! My main problem is that I’m not sure how I can send it to my computer with that large of a file. Usually I download the video and mail it to my computer via the photos app.
@@ZenithTechGroupyeah it would take ages for that, if it even worked at all. You’d need a physical connection to offload the footage. And that still can take forever, but it’s faster than wireless.
@@ZenithTechGroupI simply use the cord the phone came with to offload the data directly to my editing computer, which is an iMac. I use photos to store everything and Final Cut Pro to edit.

757, a goated aircraft. They gave it more power than it needed and it's great.
The thing is, the 757 does do many other things so well. She can fly REALLY slow, turn on a dime, and stop on a dime
This is so soothing to watch putting me right to sleep
