Welcome to a SAFE comments section! I know this is the internet and all, but I have some rather old-fashioned beliefs about treating other humans with RESPECT, and therefore I will delete any unkind comments. Thanks so much for your thoughtful and courteous participation - I look forward to hearing from you!

I’m glad you and your kids had fun playing the Robihood game. That can make up for a lackluster game.

The game was certainly a great success in terms of giving me some fun quality time with my 12- and 14-year old boys!

Awesome stuff Josh! I’m glad to hear you had that time with your kids, and they enjoyed the game.

Yeah, it's always nice when we can get that quality time in!

Great video, playing games with your kids is one of the best things about board gaming. Glasgow is a great little 2 player game. Only new to me game was US Telegraph picked it up for $10. It was fun, nail bitting finish. Played a great game of Massive Darkness 2 and finally beat 5 Minute Dugeon. That game is insane, your heart is racing after each round. Sea Salt & Paper, best small box game, imo, right now. And a few other favorites.

Thanks, Shannon! I hadn't heard of US Telegraph, but in looking it up it appears to be a reworking of Attika, which was a game that looked interesting to me about 20 years ago when I was getting back into the hobby but never got a chance to try. I keep hearing nonstop praise for Sea Salt & Paper and I even picked it up as a Christmas gift, but I haven't played it myself. Maybe I'll have to try to get it played on BoardGameArena at some point.

Sorry you didn't get to play many games. It's always good to see you.

I have to make things sound as dramatic as possible for the TH-cam clickbait, but it wasn't a big deal. I got to catch up on making videos, work on getting my Chaos in the Old World enhancements put together in time for our upcoming game, build some Lord of the Rings-themed MTG decks, and generally catch up on both fun and less-fun things that need my time and attention.

Hey Josh, sorry about your board game Friend dissolving into not being able to get together in game much. I’ve had that problem myself we had to leave a board game group. I know you’re in Canada, but would you be willing to take boardgame donations? I have a few that need a home I’ll cover the cost.

Wow, that's such a generous offer, Jason! Although my game playing has picked up a bit again in March (Paul and I were able to get together for one game day this month), the "slowing down" trend of my game playing has me leaning more towards selling off some of the games in my collection than taking more in. I'd hate for you to go to the expense of sending some games my way, only to have them collect dust on my shelves or end up in my pile of games to sell. I really appreciate you thinking of me like that, though!
And I'm sorry you had to leave a game group. Hopefully you're still finding opportunities to get games to the table.
