Listening to one Moody Blues, cut, from an album, is like reading one chapter, of a classic novel. As great as the parts are, the work as a whole, is the genius of it all!
Another great Moody Blues 👌 All l can say is Thank's for the Memories, l love all there song's 💙 😊✌️Peace ☮️ your 70 year old forever Young Hippie Gary 💃🕺Great Reaction👍 ln 1972 the World was alot like know War, Politics, the environment, we never change! Just say a prayer for Peace 😊✌️and work for the Good of Mankind and the Animal's too they need us 🙏. l972 l graduated High School thought we could change the World, 🌎 but it seems every 2 steps you move forward, they kick you 1 step back at least we're progressing, keep the Faith 🙏 😊
I will say it again: IMO, Yes = the most beautiful sounds and instrumentation in pop/rock. The Moody Blues = the top collection of lyricists in one band.
I've been a fan of The Moody Blues since the late 60s and this is the first time hearing this song ever which surprises me and the entire song I thought it was David Bowie on vocals !?
I love your reaction you two! The Moody Blues have given us a lot of depth to ponder in their songs, and this one for sure. Oh I just live these guys so much. Thank you both so much! 💜
Howdy, Folks: This song isn't bad but between it and I'm Just A Singer, they would be the last two from this album that I would have picked to do. I believe this is a Mike Pinder song. This is the first Moody Blues album that I had. I quickly bought all their other main albums and topped them off with Bluejays and Octave. Good reaction and thank you for doing this song. Candle Of Life and Eternity Road should be done. Also, Are You Sitting Comfortably!
Beautifully and powerfully said!🥺 It's wild to be 71, and have had this song/album/band be such a huge part of my life, and to have seen it apply to every era I've lived through.💫💞💔❤🩹🙏
@@drumvc8060 Might be for me. I have to give that some thought. As I liked a few of theirs. I did really enjoy Long Distance Voyager. There are so many other great songs from this group that the couple have not experienced yet.
You want more well just listen to the whole album 7th sojourn many people think it's the Moody's best. Mike Pinder wrote that song probably the most philosophical of all the Moody's, unfortunately he has recently passed away But his music still lives on 🎵🎶✌️🙏
The singers attack on this one melodically reminds me of classic David Bowie!! I HIGHLY recommend you listen to David Bowie's ; CYGNET COMMITTEE and UNWASHED AND SOMEWHAT SLIGHTLY DAZED,,,, LETTER TO HERMIONE All 3 on the same album called Space Oddity from which the title song is very famous!! DEAR DIARY is one of my favorites of The Moody Blues. Very mellow. MerchantsOfAlba Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎🎸🤟🏼
Never heard this song before. Lyrics are deep…and angry. It is obviously the Moodies, but it doesn’t sound like them to me…..I don’t think I like the arrangement with that solid beat….so “unMoody-like”. Never heard this album. Perhaps it would grow on me. The lyrics are amazing though.
This is a Mike Pinder song. He's the keyboardist for the band. Melancholy Man is another of his you'd like. Every member of the band writes and sings - except for Graeme Edge (the drummer), he writes but doesn't sing - and they each have a unique style and tone in their songs that eventually you will be able to identify...if you listen to enough of their music. Any song of theirs with a bouncy, lighthearted melody and innocent, childlike lyrics will likely be a Ray Thomas tune (flute and percussion). John Lodge - bassist - stands out vocally because of his high falsetto that he uses often when he sings background. His songs tend to be rockers or lilting, introspective ballads. Justin Hayward - guitarist - has the most recognizable voice of the bunch. His songs can rock out or lull you into a romantic reverie. He seems to be the favorite with the public; he had the most successful solo career of the five. I love that you are learning to love this band - maybe as much as I do. Carry on! Nice to Be Here - Ray Thomas Melancholy Man - Michael Pinder Isn't Life Strange - John Lodge New Horizons - Justin Hayward 22,000 Days - Graeme Edge
So glad your doing another Moody Blues song ❤️
the Moodies lyrics are always deep and with many meanings

Seventh Sojourn is an excellent album. One of my favs. Every song.
I love your reaction you two! The Moody Blues have given us a lot of depth to ponder in their songs, and this one for sure. Oh I just live these guys so much. Thank you both so much! 💜
I also 'lived' them when they were current and am still listening.
I truly enjoy watching you two grow in your reactions and in music

saw them live 4 times 😎💜
over 200 songs in their catalogue if you decide to do their song called Isnt Life Strange, please do the 8 minute version, talk about some deep stuff
The rhythm, the drums give a perfect underpinning to the lyrics which amplify the bankrupt philosophy of ‘war is more’.
Beautifully and powerfully said!🥺

At the point where the Question now is how many ‘Tuesday Afternoons’ remain.
I get a Spinal Tap feeling off of this song lol. Probably because its my first time hearing it.
Love your reaction to this Moody Blues song! Another good song I recommend reacting to is "Land of Make Believe."
Just play the hole album. Its amazing
Agree, possibly my favourite album of theirs

Moodies probably have more love songs than any band of this era 🙂
look closely at the album cover, the rock formations are actually animals
Try "Stepping in the Slide Zone" another world

Please, please react to New Horizons from the same album - a truly beautiful song. Thank you 🙂
Mike Pinder was deep.
How about reacting to "The Story in Your Eyes"?
