I have 4 different cameras. I took 4K videos on them but Stotcut is very slow and laggy. So by selecting Video Mode at 1080 24fps will help or what else can I do? Thank you

Hi! Thanks for this video. It will help me greatly in beginning to edit some video content I have been holding onto for a while. I am new to computer editing and your video was very beneficial. My playback in the preview window is choppy and lagged, any idea why? Thanks again! And if you do end up doing a 2nd video with more advanced information on this editing software, I'd love to see it, too!
Preview window is always kind of laggy unless you have a very good computer

The playback depends on the processor and sometimes the graphics card of the PC you use. The only way to stop it is to upgrade the hardware. Hope this helps. :)

Having downloaded this Application was looking for a short & well explained tutorial. Rightfully landed in your presentation & deeply impressed with the content. I am in two minds, earlier to this I also downloaded Open Shot, which was rather cumbersome to me. Which one do you suggest for a senior citizen to work on ? The former or latter? Your advice will be a big relief. Thanks in advance.
Hey Natt! From my experience, both the software programs have their own advantages and disadvantages. Compared to Shotcut the user experience in Openshot is less professional, Openshot is also known to hang if you're working on a bigger project. However, if you're a complete beginner, Openshot is more user-friendly and intuitive compared to Shotcut.
My advice to you would be to start with Openshot. Hope this helps

Openshot is more user friendly at first but Shotcut is more complete. Lately Openshot has become very buggy so you rather jump into Shotcut
When you delete transitions, why does shotcut always change the length of the previous clip? That is so annoying. Now I have to trim the clip again.

Yes, just add another video and audio track and place them above the main track.

This is a beginner tutorial, not a masterclass. (Masterclass : a class, especially in music, given by an expert to highly talented students), so you should properly change your title to not mislead your audience.
