Hi My name is Brian Hodge i was born in Denton ,Texas in 1967 at Flow Memorial Hospital and have lived in Texas all my life ,My parents loved the outdoors and would take us kids ,which was me the youngest , my brother the oldest, and my sister the middle aged one . we would go deer hunting in places so far out like palestine Tx, Fairfield Tx ,Lake Texoma and other places i couldnt tell you where we were but i will tell you there was a time we were camped out and was hunting and about 2am one night we woke up to this horrible scream from some type of animal that was not a deer or a dog or a wolf or any animal we ever heard and hit the side of our camper and shook it so bad we thought we were going to tip over my dad was so scared he couldnt even load his gun and told us to be quiet and when daylight came around we packed up and left and he never took us back overnight camping again ,i still love going camping but havent experienced anything like that since but i always stay alert and aware of my surroundings and am very cautious because we dont know what could be out there.

And around Johnson City, I am told that they have had a Dogman sighting. Do you know Rick Tullos? He's a Bigfoot Researcher that lives somewhere in San Antonio. I am in Boerne, NW of San Antonio.

@sharonrojas9569 No, I have not had the pleasure of hearing about him up until now, but will look him up. I tried my best to record the one I saw a few years ago here in Bexar County, but it was in very thick brush. Whereabouts in Johnson City because I go through there from time to time.

I think some of the viewers who stumble upon this video misunderstand our angle. Our show is about lost Texas history and Texas legends. We've had a lot of requests to do an episode on Bigfoot (or whatever you call such a creature) and we finally found the right guy to take us to an actual location (our show is about locations, after all) so we went with him. We are usually exploring old dilapidated buildings and occasionally hiking into the woods. This episode was nothing new for us, except to recreate the conditions where Jeff had his encounters, we went out at night. This episode was a way for Jeff to share his stories with out viewers and to give them a chance to explore the locations with Jeff. We are not "bigfoot hunters" or experts on these legends in any way, shape or form. We're simply out to find stories for our show. We hope those of you who stumble upon this episode understand our approach and can see that this fun episode was a departure from our typical formula and will explore our channel to see what our show is truly all about. Finally, We would like to express out most sincere appreciation to Jeff Stewart for taking the time to plan and host our adventure. Occasionally, a guide goes out of the way to make us feel at home and Jeff is one of those! Thank you, Jeff Stewart!!

In east Tx, Some people found some crazy foot prints in February when the snow came down hard. They were really wide. And long. And had a very long stride.
It was weird b/c they came out of the woods. And took strange paths. And headed towards a house with bigger forested land behind it, away from roads.
East Texas is real rural out in the sticks. Plenty places to not be seen.

I can tell you guys an experience I had with Bigfoot in Texas, I was an Airman stationed in Texas, my squad was on midnight maneuver in the deep woods in Texas, my squad was running reconnaissance, so we sat quietly separated in the darkness, I heard some movement not too far from me, I wasn't concern cause I knew one of my team mate who was 6'4 230lbs was maybe just 50 feet away! There was some more rustling, then without warning someone started shouting! But it wasn't the kind of shouting you would expect from someone being startled, this was shouting from someone in full panic! I jumped up and looked towards the commotion, but it was pitch black and all I could see was rustling in the bushes, by this time our instructors came running into view, so we all headed towards the commotion, we saw a Airman come , startled and confused, and looking back towards the woods! The instructors asked him? " What Happened ?" He said " " "Something grabbed me!"
" What grabbed you? " "I don't know but it was huge!" The instructors knew something was wrong because this Airmen was scared stiff and his eyes kept staring towards the woods! The instructors immediately called off the maneuvers and had everybody securing our perimeters, until the APC arrive! I watched as they question the Airmen! Later at the barracks, I had a chance to ask the Airman what happened? Then he told me an alarming tale!
" I was crotched down, and I heard some rustling, thinking that it maybe an animal, I stood up ,just as I stood up, something grabbed me from behind, it had his arms pinned by his side, thinking it was an instructor trying to test him, he tried to break his grip, but found himself being picked up off his feet! Now this soldier was 6'4, 230-250 lbs, its not easy to pick up someone that size and have is feet dangling! Besides, there weren't any instructors that size in our group! He said when it picked him off his feet and he got a whiff of the smell coming from this thing? That's when he started to panic! I looked at him as he was telling the story! This man was in shock! Whatever it was? It was inhumanly strong and huge! Big enough to lift a 6'4 grown man off his feet!

Grandmother used to have a fishing cabin on the Trinity River! Stories she would tell ( OK, granny, drink another beer) Well, at 15 I saw 1st hand. My parents had our fishing cabin on Lake Irene. (Bedias Tx) & to get there, we went through Sam Houston National Forest (Montgomery Co) Definitely seen BF cross the road. Between Willis out towards KELLY RD. Shepard, Lake Livingston, all of them, River Bottoms through there were full of BF activities in the 70 & 80.

Hotels and Escalades ... imagine that. They couldn't make it just one full night. Don't take much to weed out the city slickers from the country folk. That's why we live where we live. Thank God I'm a country boy

      I agree with you 100%
Them city slickers make me laugh..
They come out here too Myakka city and can't belive how dark it gets at night..
Plus they don't know nothing about the woods.. Fishing or hunting..
If it wasn't for Wal-Mart them people would starve too death..
My Daddy taught me to fish and hunt when i was young.
I got my first shotgun when i was 12 years old.
He also taught me how to track down deer...
      God Bless us Country Boy's..
      And speciality them gals..
And God Bless our Farmers and cattle ranches..
      Thank God I'm a CountryBoy..
Them City folk can have the City.
      Don't want it at all.

    Interesting show. Thank you.
You used the term "Rifle" loosely. If I'm not mistaken that was a Glock pistol magazine sticking out the bottom of that rifle.? I don't believe you'd want to shoot a hog with that.? And Never a Sasquatch. You just don't have gun enough. I'm NOT being a hater, I'm trying to help.
Here's some to think about =
300win mag, 7mm rem mag, 375 Ruger, 45-70, 338win mag and larger for either of those creatures.
    Good luck

4:10 "Dad you won't believe this but I was face to face with Sasquatch and I totally did not take photos of the giant footprints it left behind when his 900 pounds jumped out of the 20-foot tree"

    • @Believer-6179
      @Believer-6179 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I think Jeff is talking about the first time he saw a bigfoot face to face. If memory serves, that one was a juvenile -- maybe 5 ft tall and built, weighing about 200 pounds, maybe more. He had just jumped out of tree about 8 or 10 feet up. Not all of them weigh "900 pounds". These are living and breeding mammals. They grow from infancy to adults just like any other mammal. You don't have to believe they exist. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Tens of thousands of people have seen these creatures in real life over many centuries. Not every one of them is mistaken, or a liar, or hoaxed, or hallucinating. Just saying...
