A great pleasure, one more time, watching your pictures Hugo! You don't do plastic surgery to reality in your pictures and its remarkable how beautiful it looks through your lens. Thanks for sharing.

You prove that with a M8 no photo-editing is needed; Thank you Hugo.

Always good. The M8 is a sweet camera. I have the M8.2 which does not have the IR problems. They are both fine. Your photos are good, me gusta. Gracias.

Love the videos you've been posting. Very insightful in my journey prior to purchasing a Leica M8.
Question for you though, I am wanting to buy a IR-cut filter for the camera that fits the 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH v2 lens. Do you happen to know which I can buy and how to apply it on the lens?
All the best and cheers from Texas.

Hi, sorry for the delay. I think what you need is a 39mm IR-cut filter from any decent manufacturer. There are many, and probably you can find it in an internet photography store. Not big mystery here. And till the moment you find it, try the camera without it. Is surprising how colors look, comparing with modern cameras.
Thanks for your comment. I hope you enjoy your M8 for a very long time. All the best and cheers from Marbella!

Hello Hugo, I love your way of street fotography. I prefer also to keep some distance with people, privacy is important ! Your pictures confirm that it is the end of a fantastic summer, but too hot for a lot of people. Here in Antwerp BE it is also raining, T° between 15 and 17 C°. Greetings, take care, Roger.

Great video! You're right you've got the version 4 Summicron. The lens might be quite old (1979-1996) but it has the same optics like the most recent 50mm Summicron that you can still buy until today. Especially combined with the M8 it has a very analogue look as one can see in your photos!

Thanks for your comment! True, this Summicron with the M8 goes like butter and marmalade ;-)

Nice photos Hugo, just noticed your watch, is it a citizen like Brad Pitt wore in Once upon a time ?

Yes, it is, the metallic one instead of the gold plated one. You have an eye ;-)

Yes nice shots. Did you have the IR filter on? I have two 8’s and find I’m using the filter less and less.

    Thank you for the video.
    Great photos.
M8 and M9 colours are for me still unreached by any other digital camera.

Yes, and as time pass they become more and more unique.
