Question for you though, I am wanting to buy a IR-cut filter for the camera that fits the 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH v2 lens. Do you happen to know which I can buy and how to apply it on the lens? Hi, sorry for the delay. I think what you need is a 39mm IR-cut filter from any decent manufacturer. There are many, and probably you can find it in an internet photography store. Not big mystery here. And till the moment you find it, try the camera without it. Is surprising how colors look, comparing with modern cameras. Thanks for your comment. Great video! You're right you've got the version 4 Summicron. The lens might be quite old (1979-1996) but it has the same optics like the most recent 50mm Summicron that you can still buy until today. Especially combined with the M8 it has a very analogue look as one can see in your photos!

Yes nice shots. Did you have the IR filter on? I have two 8’s and find I’m using the filter less and less.
Me too, The one is now attached to the lens is not IR, is only UV
