You're both way ahead of your time. We need a lot more understanding of psychology in politics. It's crazy to have to mention this after WWII, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and so many more insane lunatics.

Hi Dr. LEE, Let me know when your Family Court Book will be on sale. I'm shocked to hear about these abusive Courts. I wonder whenever I read about parent charged with the death of a child or more _ whether this was a family court situation.

I myself was alienated from one of my children by his father after I left the cult we were in, (although I didn't involve the Family Court until too late). It's hard to understand how on earth Family Court judges can be so idiotic and abusive. Thank you both for the work you do. Keep it up!

I cannot emphasize how important research into what is going on in family courts from a psychological aspect because this same sickness is being displayed all over the world. Even here in little Iceland. This needs research why, what is the soil that will allow this unjust and unhealthy injustice to grow and multiply the world over.

It is very important the link between mental illness and Fascism. I grew up in Ireland while Margaret Thatcher was PM of Britain and it was very clear that she was seriously mentally unwell.

I appreciate this podcast. Outlining the process to assess Trump and other right wing figures is interesting and necessary. I totally agree with the message. It would help me believe your motives if you would ALSO assess the extremists on the left. As Yeats wrote “the Centre cannot hold”.

I can’t thank you enough for the interview. It must have been so difficult to know what was unfolding and having to see it in real time while being given dysfunctional feedback. Both of you are very pleasant, and it helps in the transmission of crucial information.
That’s also very interesting details about the Goldwater rule. Is there a role in society for certificates of capacity, for public servants including police as well as for private citizens?

Dr. Craig Childress has done a lot of work to get the diagnoses turned around and calling it child psychological abuse and looking for the narcissistic traits and a specific criterion to minimize the possibility that a healthy parent would be mistaken as the pathological one, which is simply brilliant-now if only judges would follow and implement it and more healthy parents knew how to defend themselves.

I hate to be a rabble-rouser, but I have to say something here....
All sciences, including psychology, and more specifically clinical psychology were meant to HELP people... NOT to CONTROL them.
Not just theoretically, but speaking from the perspective of someone with a bachelor's level education related to this, and having personal life experiences of unethical people using this particular system to unethically, fraudulently, and illegally interfere with outcomes.
I can talk all day about the institutional betrayal involved and the fear of being railroaded merely because of the structure of "legal" power of a corrupted system based on "professional" "opinions" (and let me re-emphasize the quotations on all three of those terms.)
Don't get me wrong. I personally believe Trump is an AUTHORITARIAN self-serving con artist doing things for all the wrong reasons.... That being said, using the wrong means to reach a desired outcome, only delegitimizes your position and argument.
I'm only recently taking the deep dive on the particulars of the Chinese Communist Party and their very sneaky controlling-the-narrative tactics of any and all controversial subjects... I think authoritarianism needs to be fought on a unified front, from all sides...
(Not being dialectical, just trying to see things from the people's perspective.)

I watched your JW interview featuring Isaac Carmignani. Sorry, but it was a waste of my time. You made at least 20 "mistakes" about "THE" JWs (wrong name for starters). Every religion or cult or sect has to deal with such claims, most of which are frivolous. What about you, my friend Steven? You have faced a lot of criticism. Still, you call yourself an expert with a title (Dr...) and you make money from the cult phenomenon. Say what you like. Jehovah's Witnesses saved my life in so many ways. If you think I'm a brainwashed crank, by all means test me. I'm not annoyed at all, just rather bored... Whatever... JWs are the happiest people on earth. Discuss... 🙂

    • @Werewolf0216
      @Werewolf0216 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

I was recently ripped off by a Jehovah Witness husband and wife who had a shed building business...supposedly. The husband never did the work and wouldn't give me back my money. I took him/their business to small claims court and he never showed up. I won the case, but then they filed bankruptcy. Found out they had scammed another person in our community of over $200,000 and they had several shady businesses running. Disgusting. Complete thieves and frauds yet presenting as such righteous holier-than-thou people as if they are too good for conventional society. As far as I can tell JWs are frauds and freaks.

JWs destroyed the lives of 2 of my cousins. And you can be happy with a frontal lobotomy too, so that means nothing.

    • @robynmitchell9563

In Australia, JWs were protecting members who were raping and sexually abusing children. They were very happy to refuse to co-operate with the government - perhaps that's because they see them as Satan's representatives.. If there is a Satan, his representatives are those who protect rapists of children as well as the rapists themselves.
By the way, Steve Hassan had the right to earn a living - I have no doubt he is also a tax payer, unlike the JWs.
