My Dad ran the 2& a qauter petrol I changed the carb on it for a Webber he ran it for year's. Until the shells went in it. I know where she is lying up have been trying to so a deal with the guy that owns it but have a few projects on just now. But you have a good runner there.👍
Once you knew it ran, it would have been prudent to do an oil & filter change with flushing oil, before revving it & getting it to idle with 20 year old oil, most likely full of water, circulating round it, if you're thinking of using/selling it. I know it's a low power, low compression engine, but they all need lubricating. Just an idea, considering the cost of oil over a ruined engine.
Lets see you do this in 30 years with one of today’s cars. There’s a lot to be said for simplicity.
Gotta restore it👍watching from, north east England
NOPE, you named it now you gotta restore it. XD
(If its a rare model (cab and flat bed) I think thats also a point in its favor)

Your like my dad. I be miss him.
Well it sounds like you've struck gold, & found yourself a little gem there. Keep us posted on your progress. Nice one m8. Regards Urban Geeze.
ah, 20 years is just seasoning.
i'd happily drive that thing as it is, to be honest. a good set of cushions from an old sofa will sort er out
