    A great reason to buy a coffee machine from WLL is the support. First time I’d seen the “calc clean” message, so I just found this video and followed directions. Went smooth as glass. While I was at it, since it was due for attention to the brew unit, I then went and reviewed THAT video, disassembled and cleaned / relubricated the brew unit. Good to go again.

    Another tip I use is to put a Pyrex jug on the drip tray & angle the wand towards it. That way you catch all the solution in there instead of into the drip tray. Makes it easier to clean afterwards.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your great reviews.... I have a question
    I'm thinking of buying a one-touch machine, though I can see the different functions and options from different brands and specific models, is knowing that enough to have a good tasting coffee, just by reading the specifications??
    and what do you recommend and has a better tasting coffee? the one-touch from Saeco GranBaristo Avanti Super-automatic or it's equivalent from Delonghi “Primadonna Elite ECAM 650.75.MS”
    many thanks

      Hi EAA-S, With super-automatic bean to cup machines you will have similar coffee quality between manufacturers. Some machines give a little more flexibility/contol of the brewing process. The 2 machines you mention will be similar in coffee quality so choose the one with the features you desire.

    My machine only has the small filter in it yet and I need to descale. Do I need to remove that filter or can I leave it in?

      Hi CL, Definitely remove the filter for descaling!

      Hi UH, We are located in Rochester, NY. We do not have a retail showroom open to the public but you can stop by to look at machines with an appointment. If you'd like to do that let me know and we can set it up.

    If you DO use a filter, how often should you run this calc clean function?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi SS, Thanks for the question. The machine should alert you when it's time to do. How often depends on your source water hardness which you enter into the machine on startup. Filter use can extend time between descaling by a factor of 3-4. So potentially out to about 800 brew cycles.
