My family is from the Philippines, and yes, I've had "Yoel's" in mi Familia as well. I had the opportunity to grow up in the US, but went back often for vacations. My mom and aunts still send care packages to the Philippines as often as they possibly can, from canned goods, to clothing, toys, electronics etc. Even something simple as candy and chocolate. Yes, they have these things there, but it's cheaper for us to purchase them and it's different coming from the US. American politicians DO NOT praise Socialism.....but many are critical of the disparity between the rich and poor here. It was recently reported that the wealthiest 1% of US Citizens have avoided paying over 130 Billion dollars in taxes for the year 2020 alone. Demanding they pay their fair share (like I do...like you do) is simply demanding them to stop being tax cheats.

@@goobfilmcast4239 Are you kidding. Look at Washing state. There are literally socialists in governmental positions. They absolutely have politicians praising socialism. Our form of government guarantees equal opportunities, not equal outcomes. That is up to the individual.
The top 1% wealth holders are billionaires, and so many of them don’t have to earn income. Therefore their effective tax rate is comparable to mine (about 15%). I’m quite sure my 15% is nothing compared to theirs. What is their fair share? And if they are simply taking advantage of the benefits the system gives them, that’s not illegal or cheating. If it were, the IRS would go after them.

Hey Yoel like seeing your appreciation for what we have here…yes you work hard and you can have it all …I have been to so called “ unfortunate countries “… and I come back and I’m really feel fortunate being an American 🇺🇸…..you will run across people that don’t appreciate our freedoms here but don’t let them discourage you of your dreams …👍🏼

The singing/audition part had me rolling! Yoel, los Estados Unidos te da la bienvenida! Mari you should take him to try all sorts of different foods, sushi, mexican, japanese, korean bbq, vietnamese pho etc. I love his reactions.

Mari I really enjoy all the time and effort you put in in all of your videos and at the same time you entertain us and educate us with all of the interesting information about Cuba and all. Thank you both.
