riola represents kean, boadu, malen and thuram all of these players would make interesting options for milan, they could probably do with a player like embolo or brekalo capable of filling in different positions and getting goals. i think milan has settled for diaz for a season for the attacking alternative, tonali seems inbound although he hasn't signed yet. i would like to see milan go for someone like sforza or hlozek if they actually interested in building for the long term these youngster are so of the best teenage footballers in the world.

imo They don't need a striker, Ibrahimovic, Leao or Colombo, with Rebic even playing there if needed. They need a no.10 to support Calhanoglu, a new RB, a RM, and a new CB. Then some depth for a very shallow squad. Tonali, Bakayoko, Dumfries or Emerson (Barcelona) or Aurier. Then RM I'm unsure about, Chiesa for €40mil would be the most I would pay for him. Szoboszlai would be a great no.10 but he's in high demand. Milenkovic at CB, this could involve a swap with Paqueta who's looked out-of-sorts lately. Play in Europa League is always long are grueling for depth is essential. Hopefully Gabbia, Maldini, Colombo, Torrasi and Brescianini can get some quality game time. Sell lots of the deadwood in the squad.

Calabria is just not good enough and Conti is injury prone (he already missed almost an entire season upon arriving at Milan) Sensible RB you ask? Hysaj is running out of Contract at Napoli and is a low cost but proven option
Dumfries a beast and compliments Teo Hernandez with their pace top gun. Should not cost more then 20 - 25 million. Selling Calabria for 12 - 15 million. Keep Conti for rotation until the young fullback from Lyon we bought is ready.

As a Milan fan I’d like to offer this counter. Why get a centre forward when Rafael Leao is perfectly capable. I like the idea of Tonali as the CM role but (call it nostalgia) i would prefer to have Bakayoko back. Tonali is the captain of Brescia and as we saw with Belotti and Torino this attachment means the club will do anything to prevent losing them. Enter Bakayoko: hes much more physically dominant and in his prime during the Gattuso era there was a time where he was easily the best Milan player. If Zlatan does stay he can easily improve the quality of Bakayoko. Now that Kalulu has been brought in I think other than a CM what Milan needs is a back up for Theo who fits the same profile. For the first half of the season (pre-Zlatan) the entirety of the Milan attack was focused on Theo and his absence will hurt us. I hope Leo Duarte, Gabbia and the other backup players get more time and I think Europa might actually be a fun experience for the coach to flesh out his squad.
With Brescia relegated they will sell. I'd say get both of them; 30-40mil for Tonali, then Bakayoko for 20. We just purchased Victor Osimhen from Lille and are about to get his teammate Gabriel to replace Koulibaly, but there is still work to be done. You could highlight a few needs: backup LW to Insigne, RW replace Jose Callejon, LB upgrade over Mario Rui, and a future young CM to eventually replace Fabian Ruiz once he's sold to a big Spanish club. Gabriel Barbosa seems like he could fit Milan's style of play too. Very similar style to Embolo. I know he flopped a bit at Inter but, I reckon he would suit Milan's style of play. Seems to have got his career back on track since his return to Brazil. Would like to see him back in Europe
Both Milan and Inter need to regain their status as top Italian clubs and soon. I think it's great that Lazio and Atalanta are elevating their profile in recent years, but Serie A just doesn't have the same flavor when season after season the Milan clubs are not just out of the top four, but several points behind Juve in the title chase.

Rafael Leao is very similar to Embolo - Tall, lanky, good on the ball, Good finisher but younger. Similar ceiling for both players The other midfield role would have been best filled by Manuel Locatelli who left last season. Versatile, Technical, Strong, high ceiling but very key to exciting Sassuolo side. They should get him back, he could be a fan favourite too.

Bakayoko is a no-brainer at 15mln. Chiesa is necessary too. Add Thiago Silva for a couple of seasons of iron defense and you're good to go. I would also go out of my way to sign Jovic. Good synergy with Rebic. Relying on a 39 year old striker for the whole season, or unstable Leao, is suicidal.
As we have addressed the CM...we will most probably sign Luka Jovic and Ozbak in January to strengthen the attack and defense...and maybe Papu Gomez in CAM

Gabriel Barbosa seems like he could fit Milan's style of play too. Very similar style to Embolo. I know he flopped a bit at Inter but, I reckon he would suit Milan's style of play. Seems to have got his career back on track since his return to Brazil. Would like to see him back in Europe
Honestly I think Gabriel Barbosa should only move to a smaller club than AC Milan, where there's no pressure to perform

Both Milan and Inter need to regain their status as top Italian clubs and soon. I think it's great that Lazio and Atalanta are elevating their profile in recent years, but Serie A just doesn't have the same flavor when season after season the Milan clubs are not just out of the top four, but several points behind Juve in the title chase.

Rafael Leao is very similar to Embolo - Tall, lanky, good on the ball, Good finisher but younger. Similar ceiling for both players
The other midfield role would have been best filled by Manuel Locatelli who left last season. Versatile, Technical, Strong, high ceiling but very key to exciting Sassuolo side. They should get him back, he could be a fan favourite too.
