Great video Leon! If alcohol is negatively impacting your life, quitting may be a wise decision. Alcohol can have a range of negative effects on various aspects of your life, including physical health, mental well-being, relationships, and overall productivity. Here is a tip: Try challenging yourself to a 30 day break. Don’t focus on the forever, just get curious at experimenting what life feels like without alcohol. Be receptive to all the positive benefits you're going to experience, from the restful sleep, increased energy, improved appearance and weight loss. Good luck!👋❤
I wish you were my friend. I want to quit but keep failing!
Eight years sober. Best thing I’ve ever done in my life.
Day 6 of sobriety, and today I woke up, stretched my legs, yawned, and wiped my eyes like a normal waking person for the first time in a year and a half.
Man its been a good year and some change since i haven't drank
I remember watching your videos first time while living in Phu my, Vietnam off of Vung Tao area
Gave it a shot, realized it was almost impossible to NOT drink more than 5 days
Thus realized i was mentally fu**ed
So i went though a mental battle stopped it all
and man, my life has been better in litterry every way..
Glad to see you still out here making content for those starting off were i used to be.
Well not in sh** hole Vietnam but the drinking part :)
I gave alchol a rest for a year. That was 15 years ago, still resting will I go back no way. Fucking poison.
Wow this resonates so much. Very well said. .You nailed it. Very wise, sound thinking
Great video Leon - real talk about what we all go through. much appreciated 💪
As I say " If opportunity knocks open the fucking door!"
Ive been sober for 4 months now. My memory was going, my personality changed due to low self esteem and depression. My Dad passed away and after he's wake I said to myself "Instead of drinking myself silly, i'm gonna face this pain like a man"
I'm now lifting weights as an outlet and already seeing muscle growth. My new addiction is getting Swole lol 💪
I need to work on socializing sober because Ive forgot how to be me without alcohol tbh
👍🏼For me right now just a few minutes sober so far 🤷🏻♂️Will see where it gets from here
How is it going
Thanks!
Loads of people are totally / perfectly sober with beer, wine, and rarely liquor, in moderation. Use those beverages for their healthy beneficial usage, in healthy balance.
There is zero health benefits to drinking ethanol, it's literally toxic. You either work for the liquor industry, or a big time drunk in denial.
The bottoms of my eyes are starting to sink in , is this one of the symptoms of drinking to much or could it be?
The Mind-Soul Complex Immune System: ** cough **
Those bottle of Tito’s Vodka from Costco lasts me three days😭
If this happens, you need a new recreational substance:
100s of millions of violent alcohol related crimes, including the sexual abuse of 10s of millions of children, in the US alone in the past 60 years.
If trauma is the gateway to alternative consumption, alcohol is the threshold millions cross over every year - alcohol related violence - and 75% of all alternative consumption has been cannabis, then the alcoholic and codependent nations leaders have been waging war on the traumatized victims of their own drug of choice.
This, of course, is a legal case.
Day11
Dude, why do you use the thumbnails like that? It has nothing to do with the content, you just talked some philosophical shit.
