I own omega aqua Tera and I really agree with what you said . I didn’t think of changing the strap but yours look really good . Where did you get the tan leather one ?
Thank u for the comment and the kind words! This is a Hirsch hybrid strap. I got it on Amazon. The retail for around $135 iirc. Better than OEM frankly. 👌🏼
I just saw that watch and it offers tremendous value. I would guess secondhand or from gray it will sell around $1200 and I can strongly recommend it at that price. At MSRP, too many other options for me. Alternatively it’s probably a great time to buy a previous gen Conquest which is basically the same watch with minor cosmetic changes.
For EDC it cant be a jubilee with fluted bezel . if you had the smooth bezel and oyster then maybe EDC. I own a DJ 41 126334 i dont own an omega yet, for EDC i mostly wear pelagos LHD
Isn't this Rolex's jubilee bracelet pulling out hair on your wrist? It hapened many times to me with metal bracelet of Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 41 mm that I bought, and after changing with aligator strap, wearing it becomes fantasticly comfortable, lighter, without unwilling depilation 😁. My other watches on metal bracelet didn’t cause that sideffects, and I especially find comfortable to wear Rolex Air-King and Longines Spirit Zulu Time with metal bracelet 👌!
If anybody is going to have hair pulling it’s me and I can say honestly I do not have this issue with the modern Rolex Jubilee (or President) bracelet. Now generally most watches will be more comfortable on a leather (or nylon) strap but the Rolex Jubilee I think is the exception. I find it more comfortable than the also-excellent modern Oyster bracelet.
Interesting take about "jewelry" of Rolex, I mean, that model with lot of polishing is indeed very jewelry, which can be read like cheapness, meanwhile quality of that "jewelry" is on top, so it's weird, mixed feelings, and for that amount of money you don't wanna have anything "mixed", you have to be sure about your watch, in that case, so I definitely going to vote for AT. I guess original OP would be more suitable for versus basis, cause OP is more tool-ish.
Appreciate the comment. These watches are so similar yet so different. The Rolex is “brighter” and more sparkly while the Omega is a bit of that but more restrained overall. Neither are tool watches per se but either could withstand any amount of abuse you like. Both have their place in a collection though, great pieces!

What are your thoughts on the new Longines Conquest as a competitor to these two watches?

Which movement is more accurate and requires less service?
I think these are equivalent. Modern high end Swiss movements are very robust so I don’t think one is better than the other
How do you get ahold of all these watches 😮, awesome video
Thank you very much! I have a LOT of watches, too many lol. I buy sell and trade as a hobby. I’ve been doing it for a long time. Too long lol. 💸🥲

Great point! ✨

It’s sad that the Rolex doesn’t have a crystal on the back, it’s a show stopper for me!
Actually a few Rolex do have a display back! Can you guess which?
Rolex movements for the most part are pretty plain so a glass case back would be a bit of a waste

Если вы измерите Rolex то увидите что его размер не 41 а 39,2 мм и на Вашеуке он лучше. У меня 7,7" и он мне мал...
Thank you for clarifying! 👌🏼🙏🏼
I can't stand fluted bezels. 🤮
Lol, some folks like them and others 🤮.
I ain’t gotta watch it Rolex win, always 🔥
Rolex is definitely tough to beat but this Omega might surprise you! 😎
Clearly know nothing about watches lol
@@variszarins I know more than you, want to challenge?
