I enjoyed following along your hike! What an amazing accomplishment! I'll be sticking around for more adventures. 😏 I would love to visit Michigan one day. 😊
Y’all did great. Be safe going home. 71/2 months was wonderful. Finishing is amazing. I’m always so happy to see older folks complete this. I’ve enjoyed you channel. I liked the editing, your music & creativity were great. Thanks for sharing.
@sheilahenry7279 thanks Sheila you were one of our very early followers and it was good to have you rooting us along..We will add some stories about the hike that didn't get touched on much in vids and some michigan hiking
So happy to see you guys made it thru without injuries. Must be the wisdom of the elders in you and protection of your Guardian Angels that kept you slow, steady and safe. You're younger and wiser now than when you started out. This will add years to your life, God willing. Big Congrats and happy trails!
I really enjoyed following along. Y'all did a great job of recording the good and bad. Enjoyed seeing the history along the trail also. Looking forward to more video. Thank you.
I enjoyed watching every morning, I won't know what to do now with out my daily dose of "On the loose" like I said before, my hat is off to you both!! No way I could have done a lot of the stuff you guys did, safe travels home!! God bless!!
I thoroughly enjoyed following your hike the last 7.5 months. I am going to miss my daily allowance of hiking vicariously with you guys! I'm so happy for you though to realize your dream. It's hard to imagine after meeting you 14 years ago, Drifter, that you'd get the chance to attempt and finish a thru-hike..but I am super thrilled for you to finally do it. Blue, I was very happy to finally meet you this April in Pearisburg. You are one tough cookie and I am in awe! Love to you both, DDB
@rbefarm thank you DDB.It was nice meeting you again. We will be adding some stories about the hike that we didn't touch on much and some michigan hiking
@JustinSmith-e1e thanks Justin for rooting us along.January was a tough month and we needed all the encouragement we could get.We are going to keep the channel open for reflections, stories from the trail and some michigan hikes
Lol..I need to put a snicker bar on my night stand now.It is not near as fun as walking around half neked in the woods at night trying to remember what tree you put the snack in though
7 1/2 months isn't bad, taking time to enjoy the land, history, adventure is the best way in my opinion. That's the way I'd like to do it. We did enjoy watching your trek. God be with y'all.
I get a weak stomach just watching hikers do that bouldering up Katahdin, I can't imagine what it was like in person. Hope y'all have a good drive back home.
Get home and eat a bowl of ice cream. We viewers have a void to fill now. It’ll be hard to find a better couple to follow. Thanks for the ride. Stay safe
Thank you Jack and we will hang around awhile .lol..we will have some stories from the trail that we did not touch on much in the vids .We also plan on some michigan hikes later

Love rock scrambling! You guys did it and Home Sweet Home!
I guess the rock scrambles are not that bad it's grabbing some rebar and trying to pull yourself up a wall with your 33 pound pack on that gets old
We enjoy watching your AT hike, so let's keep on hiking 😊
Really enjoyed following yall after meeting you back in January on Blood Mountain. Congrats on the finish!
