Celebrity reflection Cabin tour May 2023 (Don't book this cabin!!) HD 1080p

This is a quick ocean view cabin review on the Celebrity Reflection 13 day Transatlantic cruise. An why you should not book this cabin. I would go so far as to say try to avoid cabins on the third floor near the front.

Thanks for the tour and advice. I once booked an ocean view up front on deck 3 of Majesty of the Seas. Had the same issue with noise. But we also got a great deal.

Hi Rick thanks for the feedback. I will contradict myself a little here. We just booked and OceanView on the Summit in October of this year. Only the third floor was left but the deal we got was hard to turn down. Lots of sea days so we won’t get the bow thruster noise too much. This will be the first on a renovated ship. Looking forward to it. I’ll post that room and review also.

Thanks for the tour. Im bkd on same ship in 2025 in one of prime oceanview rms at front of the ship - 8th deck. It's suposed to be quite large w slanted window.

Hi Kate, your welcome. Yes those are large cabins. It looks like you have to book well in advance to get an ocean view 6th floor and above.
We booked this October cruise a long time ago no ocean views available above the 3rd floor. We booked another in April a transatlantic, again no ocean views available above the 3rd floor. Oh well happy to be cruising regardless. Enjoy you’re cruise 🚢

Yes we have a concierge on Celebrity November Barcelona to Florida. No more 3rd floor oceanviews. Only paid $150 more for the concierge on the 9th floor, can’t wait

Was the noise from deck above all day- night or just when they had events in the venue above you...

Hi. It was more in the morning not so much at night. Also the sound of the bow thrusters when docking shook the cabin. If you’re not sensitive to noise or get a real good deal I’d pass. Try and book a cabin as far from the front as possible. Then look at deck 4 layout to give you an idea what you will be under. We are on the last day of the summit. 10 day Caribbean and the cabin we have is much better. It’s on the third floor Oceanview but further away from the front of the ship.

he said no upgrade for a while ut I thought it was in dry dock in January/February??

Hi Brian. Yes it was in dry dock however it apparently was for mechanical updates and painting the hull of the ship blue. Apparently this is the first step they do before they update the interior. So if you see a Celebrity ship with a white hull it’s still the old style.

You get what you pay for. Imagine that.
