      How cool! Thanks so much! I am very glad that you found this helpful - I have several Celebrity videos on my channel and a very recent Equinox review which we really enjoyed. We travel Celebrity most and I know the line very well. I wish you an amazing first cruise adventure! You chose a great line and I hope you get all you can out of the experience. I recently opened my travel advisor business and would be honored to help you moving forward with bookings. Email me at contact@seemoresea.com for any questions you have on your upcoming cruise - I'd love to hear all about it and assist in any future cruises. Thanks so much for commenting and for watching! S1 has the coolest bathroom with the large mirror opening as a window into the room and able to also see the ocean looking through the room. My husband and I love the Solstice and always book a Sky Suite …I believe it is worth every cent. We feel very special and the benefits of the larger stateroom and the Luminae superb dining are worth the extra dollars. We had a cruise on Celebrity Edge in January but it didn’t do it for us like Solstice does. Thank you for you informative video …I really enjoyed it.

      I have heard from several people that when they experienced Edge Class, they were slightly disappointed. It is a very different vibe than Solstice Class. I did enjoy Luminae on Edge much more than Solstice Class but I am not a big fan of Piazza with the martini bar. We also do Sky Suites a lot however the cost keeps going up. We have three Celebrity sailings planned for this year and they are in standard veranda staterooms (Prime vs Concierge or Aqua) one of them on the Beyond, our first time in the infinite veranda. Thanks so much for sharing and for watching!

    I have stayed in the Edge Villa on the Edge and on the Beyond. On the Edge, the upstairs door lead out to the resort deck and on the Beyond it was directly opposite of Lumaire. The Edge Villa also had all speciality restaurants included. I do have the Iconic Suite booked on the Apex in 2025 and can't wait (trans-Pacific crossing). I vaguely remember Penthouse, Edge Villa and Iconic Suite may have some other perks as well.

      Thanks for sharing! I would love to experience an Edge Villa. When we were on the Edge they looked pretty amazing! Celebrity used to include unlimited specialty dining with suites and it is good to hear that they are still doing that with the higher level suites. I did not see that listed or it is just not advertised. Can I come on the cruise in the Iconic Suite? LOL. That trans-Pacific should be amazing! I'm sure the Villas and Iconic have some Retreat Host amenities that are not fully advertised and that is good customer segmentation marketing - keep everyone happy. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

    We were just on the new Ascent. Fabulous ship. Incrementally better than the others. Excellent food. A complete sell out so we were stuck with our inside cabin. Never have been in one. Guess what? It was fine. Got better sleep than I ever had on a cruise ship! Exactly the same as a regular room but it was not as long nor was their a port hole or balcony. Same everything else including the bathroom which is excellent. It took minimal time to get used to it as we were only in to sleep and take naps and a little down time and guess what again. We saved almost a thousand over the Infinite Verandah which we had been on twice before and had the same cruise experience as before. And we were on level 11 which is two floors below the pool deck and oceanview cafe. You really dont want to be right below either in the first place. So it was perfect. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

    I have been cruising with Celebrity since 1990...I have been in Aqua Class ever since it was introduced.
    Picking a Cabin is very simple. Do not ever pick guaranteed...Make sure you are not under the pool, restaurants or dance clubs. If you are sailing on a Edge Class ship, I would never pick Blu, 2 big reasons..
    1) they have 4 main different dining rooms with different cuisine. 2) the money you save not in Aqua Class you can dine in a specialty restaurant f you choose and it will be either the same price or more likely cheaper.
    For Soltice class or M class if you can swing it, go Aqua Class or do the same...Regular Veranda and a specialty restaurant each night.

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great points and advice! I too, will never to a guaranteed stateroom since I am very picky and look out for all that you stated. I also do not want a cabin with a sleeper sofa or family stateroom beside me. I read EVERY deck plan to know where children or babies would be due to early morning noise and running and screaming in the corridors near the kids clubs. I also never pick a cabin that has adjoining stateroom doors - you can hear everything through those doors! I agree on the 4 main dining rooms on Edge - it is a better experience than Blu. Luminae on Edge is fantastic if you go for a Sky Suite. Specialty dining is always a great choice if the budget allows. Thanks so much for your input and for watching!

      Thank you so much Steven! I have been on Celebrity many times and obviously really enjoy the line. i could have added about 30 minutes more detail but, another day.... We have been on Edge Class twice and both times we went for a Sky Suite. I have toured an infinite veranda and have friends that have experienced one. I will be going on to experience this summer so I'll have a full review. I like it on paper and love the aspect of a bigger area inside the room. The one thing recently pointed out is that when you open that window the air conditioning stops and when you shut the folding french doors, the air still is off. I, too, love my outside veranda space so I am not sure how I feel about it. The room temp controls are fantastic so if the room heats up, I am confident that you can bring it back to a cool level very quickly. The Edge Class Infinite Veranda staterooms look awesome so I think this is not an issue for me on paper. My two groups of friends loved their staterooms so I'm looking forward to the experience. You can't go wrong with that aft view from a sunset veranda so enjoy!!! Thanks so much for watching and more to come!

If you have the "All Included" fare it does include classic drink package (upgradable to premium) and the Surf Wi-Fi (upgradable per device to premium). • @isisdave
    @isisdave 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Pretty thorough. But all reviews of Infinite Veranda need to include:
    1. If the outer window is open even a little, the air conditioning in the cabin is turned off. So if you like to leave the balcony door open a bit to get fresh air and sea noise, your room will heat up (unless you open the window quite a bit and leave the blackout blinds fully open).
    2. But light control on the balcony is achieved by a blackout blind that rolls down from the top, whereas the window opens from the top. You can see that the blinds will be in practice either fully open or fully closed.
    3. And there is no other control for outside light; specifically at the plane of the "French" interior doors. So if you and your companion have different sleep schedules, there is no way you're gonna sit on the balcony area while she sleeps ... UNLESS you bring your own blackout curtain and magnetic hooks to hang it from the ceiling, as other reviewers have suggested.

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for adding these practical considerations for the Edge Class infinite veranda staterooms! I have heard and read several times regarding the heat issue when the top window is open. I also understand that the lighting from the blackout shade and using the interior "French" doors. My husband gets up way earlier than I do so he would have to find external deck space in the mornings. We have not sailed in the infinite verandas yet having chosen the S1 Sky Suite on our Edge class sailings. They have a standard sliding glass door veranda. I tried the blackout curtain with hooks on a Royal Caribbean ship and it completely fell to the ground. LOL. Make sure you have extra heavy duty magnets if trying this on your next cruise - I completely failed with my attempt! Thanks so much for sharing and for watching!

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm going to assume that you are most likely on a Solstice Class ship (Eclipse most likely from Vancouver). Deck 6 with a V2 veranda is going to be located forward. Deck 5 forward contains the main theater and the higher level shops. During performances there might be some carry over noise in the evenings and crowds coming to and from the theaters. Other than that you should be fine. Every other stateroom in this category on deck six has either a sleeper sofa or an upper berth bed which could indicate that there will be more than 2 guests in those rooms. Again, this should not be a problem in most cases. The life boats are housed off of deck 5 so depending on your forward location, you might have a life boat just below you but it does not obstruct your view out to sea. If you are on a Millennium class going northbound from Vancouver, deck 5 also contains the theater and public areas so some noise can travel but nothing in the early mornings or late night. Have a GREAT cruise! Let me know if I can assist further.

    Thanks for the video although maybe I missed what I was looking for - I might be booking soon on Celebrity Eclipse, the room category I'm looking at is Veranda Balcony (V3) - it's going to be four people (two adults two kids), and we can choose between a few available rooms, some are marked as having a convertible sofa bed, and some are marked as having convertible sofa bed and one upper berth. Do you know the difference? Is the one with the convertible sofa bed intended for two people to sleep in that, and the other one would be one in the sofa bed and one in the upper berth? Thanks!

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you are looking at a V3, these are veranda staterooms with a partial view (meaning that they overlook the life boats) on deck 6. The solid black square on the deck plan signifies a single sofa bed. The solid triangle represents an upper berth (either pullman bed from the ceiling or a fold down from the wall above the sofa) allowing for another guest. Depending on how old the kids are, I would not expect the sleeper sofa to accommodate both. I would recommend you go with the sleeper sofa and the upper berth for 4 people. Cruisedeckplans.com is a good resource to get exact details on a specific stateroom. They often times have pictures from pervious guests. Also make sure that you are specific with your ship name because cabin numbers are different on most ships. Thanks for watching!

      I am assuming that you are speaking of the Solstice Class ships and the aft staterooms do go at an angle and most can be viewed from above. It is my understanding that they are all the same depth but just stick out further as you look at lower decks. There is a stateroom at the aft on Solstice Class ships which does have a wider balcony. This is normally the 4th stateroom in from the port side. If you search for aft views of your Solstice Class ship you will notice this middle stateroom has a wider balcony. This is because there is a supply closet between rooms and one lucky stateroom gets the balcony space outside that closet. I hope that helps!

    We want the big (slanted) window. Is this a prime oceanview?

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On the Solstice Class ships those staterooms with the slanted windows are going to be all forward on decks 7 and 8 and are classified currently of Prime Oceanview. The Edge class has similar which are mostly called Deluxe Oceanview and are also forward. It is always good to search the stateroom number online and check with sites such as cruisemapper or cruisedeckplans to see actual pictures of the stateroom.

    Aqua class does not include WiFi or unlimited drinks. Am I missing something?

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are correct - Aqua Class does not include Wi-Fi unless you go with the All Included fare which includes WiFi and Classic Drink Package - gratuities are also no longer included. All Suites will get Wi-Fi and drinks. Thanks for watching!

    Can the sofa beds sleep two people in all state rooms. I have two children and they will be sharing but all I have seen is what looks like a single bed? Please help

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      On the Solstice Class ships, there are several veranda staterooms (decks 6-9) that have both a single sleeper sofa and an upper berth (in the ceiling) that creates a quad stateroom. Check out the deck plans and see the solid square for the sleeper sofa and a triangle for the upper berth in the deck plan key. On the Edge Class ships staterooms that show an open square (not fully solid color) is a double sleeper sofa making these a quad. Most Sky Suites will have a double sleeper sofa but always check the deck plan key to confirm. It is always good to confirm your stateroom location on the deck plan to make sure you are good with the location. Many of the quad staterooms are also connecting staterooms as well but not always. Thanks so much for watching!

    For an inside or ocean view cabin is it better to go for a high deck?

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are going to find most of the Oceanview cabins on the lower decks except for some that might be on a higher deck facing completely forward. Depending on motion sickness issues, a lower midship would probably be better for inside since you can not see the horizon. If you are on a higher deck and either forward or aft, you might feel the motion more and unable to stabilize since you can not see the ocean or the horizon. Keep that in mind. It is a great question! Thanks so much for sharing and for watching!

    Hi !! I am sailig on january 6 th 2023 to Antartica on Celebrity Eclipse. I 'd Booked a Stateroom Veranda BX .Double
    Can you explain me What that means ? Which Deck ?? IS it very low ?? I have time to change it.
    Thanks a lot

      @seemoreseascruises3791  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If there is an X in the category description it normally means that you have chosen a guarantee stateroom option in that category. This means that you are paying for the least expensive option in that category (inside, Oceanview, balcony, suite, etc.) and the cruise line will assign you your stateroom a few weeks before your cruise. By choosing a guarantee, you pay a lower price and will be assigned the best stateroom left in that category or a stateroom in the next upgraded level. You may be assigned an obstructed view balcony if that is what is left. I just did this for a guarantee Oceanview (window or porthole) and was assigned a deluxe balcony. This is NOT a typical assignment but I got lucky. If you do not know your deck or type of stateroom this confirms that you have a guarantee balcony / veranda. If you want to pick your stateroom location, you will have to pay slightly more and select your location. Call Celebrity or your travel advisor to upgrade and confirm. This is standard on ALL cruise lines and having the ability to actually choose the location is a perk and not all cruise lines allow you to do this. I always like to select location if at all possible or if it is within budget as you can tell from the video. Good luck and the Eclipse in Antarctica sounds like a bucket list to me! Any balcony room will be fantastic since you will want to capture the outside views on this adventure! Let me know if I can help more. Thanks so much for watching and for commenting!

    We are booked in an infinite window stateroom deck 7 …how do we know if we qualify for a class?

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Within the infinite veranda staterooms, there are various classes based upon location and amenities. The classifications are E1 - E4 with the ES being an infinite veranda single. The concierge class infinite verandas will be more midship and on a higher deck. They are C1 - C3 which offer a few very minor services such as a concierges and a welcome lunch. You are basically paying more for the stateroom location. Aqua Class will provide you more amenities with access to the Persian Garden (spa thermal suite) and an upgraded dining room called Blu. They will be classified as A1 - A2. Knowing the classification when booking tells you how much you will pay and what services you get. Sometimes you can select a lower level option and save yourself some money. The staterooms are basically the exact same with maybe some of the Aqua Class verandas having upgraded bedding, bathroom amenities, and improved shower head. Enjoy those ships - they are amazing! Thanks for watching!

    Laundry?
    Bottle water?

    • @seemoreseascruises3791
      @seemoreseascruises3791  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are laundry options available on Celebrity. Each stateroom has a laundry bag and options are for an additional fee for a full bag, per item and various loyalty level provided discounts or a free press on evening chic evenings. There is no self service laundry. Bottled waters are provided in the stateroom but they are an additional fee as well. Bottled water is an extra fee from any bar unless you have either drink package. When having either drink package, it is my suggestion that you grab two waters on your way back to the stateroom and fill your refrigerator. We always ask the stateroom attendant to empty the fridge of sodas and beers which are always an extra fee, even with the drink package, so that we have room for waters. If you are in a suite, each suite level comes with added perks for both laundry and drink packages. If you are higher than a Sky Suite, a butler will be happy to fill your refrigerator with waters each morning. The premium drink packages comes with all suites. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching!
