You could also eat cereal, a yogurt parfait, or soup out of the froggie mug. The orange light when you're holding the bee mug and talking about not filming an outro is sooooo October! I love it.
That whole dresser for under 30 euros! You can't even buy a cheap particle board furniture for that price. Also, your father looks super cozy and cute. How sweet!
i visited amsterdam recently for holiday and also visited leiden for a day. it is such a beautiful town! i fell in love with the netherlands old architecture. it is so different to austria where i live. ❤
that dresser was such a steal! ✨ meanwhile, all I can find in my thrift stores are clothes no one would choose to wear and basically no furniture/home thrift shops, unless it's a cracked glass or something. life is not always fair 😢 loving these moving /home series!
A TIP: I have the same sort of sliding door closet that you have in your bedroom - I recently wallpapered mine, and the result is ✨magnificent✨ I used a primer to make it stick and then just a non-woven wallpaper, and it really changed the entire vibe of my room!!
1. fun and cute mugs is a must! Welcome to the mug cult! 2. Kids sections always have the best textiles! I am also looking for a bedroom rug in kids sections haha
As someone who is also getting ready to move, I completely understand that feeling of overwhelm and finding things you have no idea why you own. I've lost track of the number of trips to the donation center I've made in the last few weeks, plus the amount of stuff I've tossed. And even after going through a space, I will still find more stuff to get rid of. I love watching your process of decorating and prepping your new place.
I'm moving right now too, and it's soooo nice to see a *realistic* moving vlog!! I see perfect huge houses in this kind of videos all the time, where people buy so much new expensive things and make no mistakes in process... And your videos are so nice and cozy, they make me feel so relaxed and calm. And I love your style, you and everything around you is pure beauty. Thank you for your art and sorry for my english
i feel such a weird mix of excitement and nostalgia watching this bc i’m also moving (in one week today!) but i’m moving away from Delft where i’ve lived the past two years. i’m gonna miss this city sooo much tbh, i hope you’ll love it too, Leonie!
As I am moving soon(ish) myself into my first house (can't quite believe it!), I fully understand the excitement and I'm so happy for you! Love following you through these vlogs and I can't wait to see you living there!
I just have to comment; i love your vlogs, both on this channel but also the ones you have been posting on your other channels earlier! It is nice to follow someone who enjoys the same things as me, like reading, scented candles, cozy ambiance and browsing bookstores ☕📚 Looking forward to the next vlog and good luck with the move. I am so excited to see you decorate the place, the vintage style you have is so inspiring😃 And yes, old fashioned picnic baskets are just *chefs kiss* in my opinion as well!
It's a queen staff, Leoni. You have a staff because you're a queen. Old-fashioned picnic baskets are a surreal sight, due to the widespread preference for cheap coolers. It also reminds me (yet again) that a beach day is in order to combat this accursed heat. Bringing furniture into a new place rather than out of it is a satisfying feeling. Reminds me of a 10x6' bookshelf I really loved, so because no drivers were available, I carried it on my back all 8 blocks and up 2 flights of stairs. It was glorious.
aah these moving vlogs are getting me so excited for when I move into my uni house at the end of the month!! I'm so excited to decorate a new space and watching you decorate your apartment is only making me more excited haha
Your content between this channel and your book channel have inspired me to fix up the old place here. Many thanks 😊 packing up when moving really sucks but finding a new way to arrange things is fun.
Leonie i loved this so much, the dresser, the lamps, your chairs, the frames, everything!!! And yes mugs that make you happy everyday when you make your tea, coffee or matcha is a must!!! I have a mug collection that grows because when i see a cute mug,i treat myself, and everytime i reach for one it makes me so happy☕🫖🥧🍵🕯📓🖋📚🎃🕰⏳🦋🐿🦔💖Warm hugs coming your way
That really was a nice bookshelf, you can sand out all the scuffs and re-stain it if you wanted to. But it’s a big shelf so I can understand how that’d be a lot of work ❤ You can keep the original wood color via wood seed oil to finish it. Or just ask your local hardware store, they’d give you the right stuff
That haul looks so fun! On the topic of fun mugs. My family doesn't really do generic white mugs so we've always had odd and fun ones. I always have to remind myself that I don't need new mugs because every time I go to a Marshalls or Ross I nearly bee-line for the mugs and candles.
Obsessed with these moving videos, I love seeing all the beautiful vintages pieces you find! Thank you for sharing with us this glow up :') PS That rug is so coraline-like I love it
I really liked this video; it gave me a lot of positive vibes and determination. I also agree with those who say your parents are the best parents ever; they seem so nice and caring with you. Anyway, your videos are amazing, and whenever I need a positive thought, I watch your video, and it's just...fantastic! 💙
For the dark furniture you could stain it the same color or close to brown of the first since it has a dark undertone it would be a darker brown when settled. Its just a thought.
Hello Leoniee, for the chair, I think using a finer grit sandpaper would give you a smoother surface. I recommend asking someone at a hardware store-they can help you find the most suitable grit for your project. I hope this helps, and I love your videos! Great work!
I‘m currently moving too and I feel/felt exactly the same. Every day was just searching for furniture and organising things for the flat, installments and assembling things… it felt like I didn’t have any weekends in Juli. Now most stuff arrived and half of it is assembled, I can already stay overnight there, though I still need to ask a friend to help me with getting the ceiling lights onto the ceiling haha
The only furniture I’ve thrifted is my garden stuff and that was hard to find! Can’t imagine how hard it must be to thrift so much! But then again, you have a vision ✨
I like your activity of hunting furniture and relatable experience as a young person and aspiring designer even though I'm from different region and culture. Just like book reviews, I think you should make reviews on decoration / furniture brochures and catalogues out of curiosity. 2:48 - Now I see the importance of concept of flatpack design by IKEA since small cars cannot accomodate assembled furniture.
I love watching these videos because we have very similar styles, but all the secondhand shops around me always have horrible modern things and I can never find things that I actually like, so I'm living vicariously through you, haha
Your parents seem to be the coolest kind of parents.
Her Dad is total professor vibe.
silence, my favourite person is going to talk
*whispers* I love this comment 😆 okay I’ll be quiet now
😂😂🤫🤫@@cassandracharles6038
I relate so much to this.
🥰💕so sweet *whisper*
Right on
This has been my favorite series! My kids ask me if I’ll be “watching my book girl today?” 😄
I wonder what the story behind your username is 🤔
Sometimes I forget that I made my account when I was 14 and then I am reminded
@@bolognahategroup1073 That explains a lot lol
@@bolognahategroup1073same 🥸
as much as I hate moving myself, man, do I love a moving vlog! ✨
You could also eat cereal, a yogurt parfait, or soup out of the froggie mug. The orange light when you're holding the bee mug and talking about not filming an outro is sooooo October! I love it.
Perhaps you can stain the grayish tv console to a warmer brown color to better match the other wood tone!
That whole dresser for under 30 euros! You can't even buy a cheap particle board furniture for that price. Also, your father looks super cozy and cute. How sweet!
I've been re-watching this series in anticipation of the next video!!
15:03 was so cute you and your dad look so happy 😭
We stan a secondhand-thriftstore-upcycling queen 😭🙌

Moving is really a good way to understand witch stuff you need and care about and witch you don't 😅
i legit teared up at 15:21. it looks SO beautiful.
A TIP: I have the same sort of sliding door closet that you have in your bedroom - I recently wallpapered mine, and the result is ✨magnificent✨ I used a primer to make it stick and then just a non-woven wallpaper, and it really changed the entire vibe of my room!!
I just love all the furnitures you bought. So inspiring, it makes me want to decorate my appartment with vintage things
Your new apartment is coming along wonderfully. Your parents seem lovely, and I thank you for all the cat cameos in this video.
1. fun and cute mugs is a must! Welcome to the mug cult!
2. Kids sections always have the best textiles! I am also looking for a bedroom rug in kids sections haha
Your parents seem so lovely! I can definitely see the resemblance between you and your dad! 🥰

As a Dutchie myself, I really appreciate the way you make our country look so cool and peaceful 🌻
It's past midnight in my country, but I can't wait till the morning to watch this 😊🤩
Ah yes, the world brightens up w every leonie post

I was about to comment about Ikea's Ivar collection as well! Uncanny!
idk why but for the entirety of this video i was just like: cute:)
The way my jaw dropped when you said how much that dresser was. Amazing find, can’t wait to see your new place come together!

Yesss to all cute mugs haha. I love homemade ones. They cost a bit more, but I'm so happy everytime I use them!
Looking forward to see every single step of your move in! I love your taste please keep updating us^^
Loving this moving series! ☺️
Such an nice épisode of the mooving serie. Can not wait for the next one. Hope you're doing great in your new place :)
That openig sequence was so good!!!
You found some really cute things! Excited to see the new place all decorated.

I hope this helps, and I love your videos! Great work!
I love this kind of video, specially coming from you Leonie 💜
I think the mismatched woods are a better look than matchy-matchy. It's just too blah when you have too much of the same wood.
for the dresser and tv console, you could try staining one of them to be more similar to the other one!
Can’t wait to see your place all finished!
Your parents cat is stunning! Such a fun video and what great finds!
I have been yearning for your next upload omg thank you for this!!!

I love this series!!!
Congratulations on downsizing and the fun new/old stuff 🎉🎉
I do miss the Netherlands! My wife and I lived in Den Haag for two years while she studied baroque cello at the Koninklijk Conservatorium.
So jealous of your dresser find, been searching for one like that for a while to use as a nighttable as well 😂
The children's section has the cutest rugs!
so happy for youu

Mug philosophy! ❤
Love your new tv console!!!! Those chairs are terrific and that dresser at that price…gasp!
all of these pieces are so gorgeous!
for A3 frames I recommend sostrene grene !!
I love watching these videos because we have very similar styles, but all the secondhand shops around me always have horrible modern things and I can never find things that I actually like, so I'm living vicariously through you, haha
hey girl ! could you give us a link to your pinterest board for room inspos, I really love the vibe that you create in your spaces ^^
Looooove to follow along on your moving journey! I also hope to be moving this year! 🥰😍
That dresser is so beautiful 🥹
Thank you for this very nice video! also you look so much like your dad! I really like your editing!
your family cat was definitely modeling the new pieces so well haha she's adorable
love these moving vlogs 🧡
I loved this, you found so many cute items 😍
That vintage dresser and lamp are stunning, makes me so jealous we don't have thrift stores in my country 😭😭😭
i came to comment the same thing.LOVE the dresser and i wish we had thrift stores in our contry that sell stuff like this 😭
@@umapraharshitha maybe they will come since thrifting is kind of a trend now? Fingers crossed🤞🏻
Covering the tv console with contact paper that matches the other piece of furniture better is a good option
I'd like to see more of Delft. Such a famous city.
That set up for the outro though 😍🔥
the yeehaw hat is such a keeper though!
Read the title of this video and I was like oooh hold up let me get a snack, I’m excited ❤
Oh i love the vintage things you have found for your new flat! :)
