A stage with Tasia, Yolanda, Jhud and Patti, I respect them for the restraint they showed and for allowing one another to shine. This could have descended into competitive screaming and wailing, but they were just there celebrating one another's gifts, it was beautiful to witness. Fantasia though, what a once in a lifetime voice she has. I hope Jhud interviews her on the show when she starts doing press for the Colour Purple.

She in fact did lose her voice 😂 I watched a recent interview when she talked about it. She was gonna retire and her son told her “no you’re not”. It was deteriorating due to age. She worked it back though !!

This is a master class. I loved how she was singing behind the beat. Then she hit those high notes in her falsetto - she yanked every soul in the building. Brilliant. This whole thing is beautiful with these women who have different singing genres/styles and they are holding court. And let's not forget the background singers.
